  • I just love your mule, she´s adorable!!!! The course looks sooo great! Unfortunately, we don´t have courses indoors like this...yet. My horse loved trails, I´d loved to have tried sth. like this with him!

    Greetings from Germany!

  • Fantastic mule! Love the course. Finally a course that is interesting and not loaded with boring poles, poles and more poles. Lately 'trail class' shows are getting so boring. We need more trail courses like these to get people out and enjoying the sport and liven up the classes. Good for the horse and mules mind too!

  • What an awesome trail course! Would love to do this with my mare! And what a great mule.

  • What a super trail course & what a wonderful mule! My horse and I would have loved to work a course like that, none of that nonsense with a bazillion poles in different configurations like AQHA shows. She's been gone over 10 years, we quit showing five years before that, but we had real obstacles, none of which are used any more because of safety issues. I'm in California, where do I find mule shows? Really nice mule, a pleasure to watch you guys do the course. Thanks!

  • I'm so glad you like Maxine. She's my world!

The NW Mountain Trail Championship, which is shown here, is an annual trail show in Eugene, Oregon, that's open to all equines, big and small.

Of course, there are a lot of mule shows in the northwest and beyond. Here are just a few:

Bishop Mule Days Celebration - Bishop, CA

Hells Canyon Mule Days - Enterprise, OR

Montana Mule Days - Hamilton, MT

Winnemucca Mule Races, Show, and Draft Horse Challenge - Winnemucca, NV

  • Another amazing course, great fun to watch - liked the music too :-)

  • That coarse would be fun as hell!:)

  • You gotta love Mule-people! =)

  • Holy cow you've got a good handle on that mule. What song is playing in the background and who sings it?

  • Thank you so much. Maxine is a wonderful friend and teacher who always looks out for my safety. Of course, she used to look out for me a little too much - by calmly refusing obstacles that she thought were unsafe.

Fortunately, we have built a strong relationship and she will carry me though just about anything - slowly and surely.

I wouldn't trade her for anything! Hence the song: "Dance with Who Brung You" by Asleep at the Wheel.

  • Now that's an awesome trail course!! Good Mule!!
