I agree this program, so far at least, is more frustrating than fun. Only some of the clothes and other objects will load. Most of the time they just don't. Very annoying.

it's all content based. what you buy from daz (character models, textures, hair, morphs, morph slots, etc) is what you can use in the software.

HELP!! I messed up in installing Daz 3D. I tried to reinstall it and the messed up version keep come back. How do I install Daz 3D back to it's original form?

Nothing shows up in the Load tab under Content when DAZ is initially installed. The only tab where content shows up is the Render tab. Messing around with the View -> Interface Layout will eventually get content to show up in the Load tab like it's supposed to.

@MichaelLines365 perhaps it is not the best place to discuss the issue but.. did you add the main mode? It is a character design tool and the base of everything is the human body model to which you add properties to.

The error you quoted is usually shown when there is either no model selected or the selected object is not the base body model to which the property should be applied to.

Ok, I downloaded your software for Mac and it has nothing in the left hand group of people posses, cloths, etc... Lighting is it, there is a folder that says Victoria 4, but under that only a LOD folder under it with nothing inside.

There has been no intuitive interface so far, and until they make it a priority it will always be that way.

Just take your adderall and keep searching for and watching tutorials.

Having tried (and failed...) to use Blender about a hundred times, I can tell you that these guys might be a little bit bland, but ALL SOFTWARE is like that. You download it, register, and can't do a damn thing with it because you don't know how. Until you RTFM and spend some time learning.

Register, mehrbilal. The lite version is free but it does still require a serial number. Which you get, for free, once you create a user account on the site, login (select the remember me option when logging in), and click on the "Register" button within the software installation.

@mehrbilal go onto the daz3d site and register the version of Daz3d you are using they will give the serial number there for free. Once you are member you can also start to download free models from their sire. Very Useful!

When you downloaded, there was a 'dialog box' above the space to enter your code. You had to click on that and a Daz3d page would have popped up with a valid code. If you have not gotten Daz to work, go back and reinstall over the Daz you have. If you haven't used it you don't have to worry about overwriting anything. Then click where it says 'Enter code' and you should get one automatically. Hope this helps.
