@DavBlc7 Yes he now do fly HKSAR and Chinese flag now. He's very pro-China now. It happens because they have to keep a good relationship with he Chinese government as their career and business rely on the Chinese market very much now. But most of them maybe still holding a UK passport at the back.

@DavBlc7 I'm a Hongkonger and now living in NZ. NZ has two official national anthem, which is God save the Queen and God defend New Zealand. The later one will be played in most of the occasions while the first one is played during Royal events, for example during the current Royal visit of HRH Prince William. But they both have an official status in NZ.

@lungkk I know many of you holds British passport, full or overseas. But I wonder if their childern holds British passports too. I know many HK schools were teaching how to love China and sung Chinese National anthems plus raising Chinese flags and vowed to be loyal to the Motherland. and they are doing so without their parents knowledgeably.
I think they must be brainwashed into ditching British passports in favour of Chinese passports once they leave school unless I am wrong.

cont.... I think in 20 or 30 years time, British passport holder will have been a lot less than at present and Chinese passport holders will have grown a lot with children leaving school turning Chinese patriots, plus I suspect mainlanders will go to live in Hong Kong.
China knew there were many British passport holders there so they want schoolchildren to learn they are really Chinese not British and China is their home not Britain. They want it to be completely Chinese by 2047.

@DavBlc7 Yes he now do fly HKSAR and Chinese flag now. He's very pro-China now. It happens because they have to keep a good relationship with he Chinese government as their career and business rely on the Chinese market very much now. But most of them maybe still holding a UK passport at the back.

@ianmann64 Next HK medal will see the HKSAR flag rising and the next HK gold medal winner will be hearing "March of the Volunteers" instead of "God Save the Queen" So far there has been no gold medals for HK since the handover.
Do any of you know how many HK medal winner of any colours since the handover?

@FB4822 the other one is from New Zealand, the country has its own national anthem, God Save the Queen, on the other hand, is the Royal Anthem of New Zealand

@manutd1968 New Zealand is completely independent but a Commonwealth realm hence the Queen is Queen of New Zealand. - it was not God save the Queen cos New Zealand have their own anthem though I can't remember what it is yet.

@DavBlc7 I'm a Hongkonger and now living in NZ. NZ has two official national anthem, which is God save the Queen and God defend New Zealand. The later one will be played in most of the occasions while the first one is played during Royal events, for example during the current Royal visit of HRH Prince William. But they both have an official status in NZ.

Lee Lai Shan is the last gold winner of the British Hong Kong and the last HK flag to be raised with the sound of God Save the Queen.
Does anyone know who the first Hong Kong winner under the new flag and the Chinese national Anthem?
After 2047 HK Olympic team will disband and merged into the Chinese team.
Sadly for HK sports teams there is no more Commonwealth games for them!
