I saw ZZ top at the Calderon theater in Hempstead NY in 1977 2nd row right down in front. If anybody remembers Slade they warmed up for ZZtop and got booed off the stage after about 30 minutes. The audience only wanted to hear ZZtop and I don't blame them. What great band .
