If he was a bit more creative I wouldn't mind how much diff the tv show was from the books, but it seems like every good thing Eric does in the books, he let's bill do it on the show

@misswrestling45 Eric didn't get mad & threaten to kill Pam because she almost killed Sookie. He did that because she lied to him. Listen to what Pam says after the thriller dance. "Sookie's fine. There was a forcefield. I knew it wouldn't hit her." There was absolutely no way for Pam to know if the missile would penetrate Marnie's magic or not. Pam lied to Eric to sugarcoat her actions, which to him is a serious betrayal. He sent her away to protect her from himself.
The Eric we knew is gone. This is a new Eric, who's madly in love with Sookie and is willing to do anything for her, even kill his own "child". Yes, he has his memory back but he also remember the time he spent with Sookie and how happy he was then. It's impossible for him to be the way he used to be in the past. So I'm not surprise he got mad at Pam, he doesn't hide his feelings anymore, Sookie is his priority now.
The heart-sucking scene is so awesome. We better all vote for ASkars to win the Scream Award for Best Horror Actor this year. He deserves it for that scene alone.
They are supposed to feel what she is feeling inside right? I think bills face near minute 6:01 tells us that he knows she loves Eric and maybe now he'll get out of the way!!! I hope !!

I love the subtle change of expressions on Sookie's face. There is empathy for Bill, encouragement for Eric, and tenderness when she looks at them both. Then it looks like she reaches a decision at the end.
