Good- these players are getting paid through their asses, they need to be penalised more, do you think in other jobs you could get away with being rude to customers and stay- your manager will wipe the floor with you- and maybe leave you in tears afterwards.
@nielslennartohlsen Uh, anyways the point being made here "KID" is that there is no rationale behind your comment. I wasn't the one who started comparing Williams to McEnroe, YOU DID! So if you're not prepaired to justify your comment with facts, then STFU before you get embarrassed again! I happen to like John McEnroe as well as Serena Williams. If you wanna be a hater, then either justify your hate with facts or end up looking like a ratard sipping on hateraid! Your choice.

i think that venus is the only one in that family that doesn't deserve to be termed, well, erm, y' know... a typical, run-of-the-mill, lying, aggressive, bling-bling wearing, gorilla-ish... well, you know the word i mean, it's the one that best describes her behaviour. i'm so glad i don't have to mix with any.
@MrTonyInchpractice Sounds like you mean nigger! And since you are racist enough to suggest that, please try not to bore us with your fake attempt at admiration for Venus Williams. I'm glad that nobody really gives a shit what ignorant racists like you think. It's doubtful anyone would want to "mix" with you being the disgusting person that you are anways.
@MrTonyInchpractice You racist cow. HOW DARE YOU say that about any black person, and refer to black people as "them". Why don't you take your KKK loving ass off the damn internet and do us all a damn favor and go hide in some hole with the rest of your racist buddies. It's people like you who make the United States look barbaric and certainly take us all back 200 years. If you really wanted a whitewashed country, move and go somewhere else. America is not the place for you.
I love serena so much. After that, she rpoved to the world that she is a TRUE CHAMPION: she won AO + Wimbledon... It would be such a crowning if she could win the US Open this year and shut the haters' mouth. muhahaha
One of the big differences here is that Serena went after a "lowly" linesperson, and Mac went after the head referee. Serena definitely deserved to get defaulted for the way she handled that situation. For her to not think that she has any regrets or owes the lines woman an apology is absurd. She does owe an apology sicne she was out of line. I will never be a Serena Williams fan for many reasons, including her ridiculous outifts, excessive grunting, massive cockiness, and now this.
The fact is everyone has times when they get frustrated and they do things that might not be the best, but the fact is everyone has those times. It's unfair to say that this people are rude or bad sportsman or anything, the fact is everyone does it. We all have times we get frustrated. Serena paid the price she's apologized I think its time to forget it shouldnt be as big of a deal as people make it out to be.
@samaybrahmin You bringing up race only proves that YOU are a racist. The rules are the same now as they were when McEnroe was defaulted. In fact the rules were updated shortly before McEnroe was defaulted (which he didn't know at the time). People that criticize Serena for her ONE outburst and ignore the thousands of times McEnroe, Connors, Roddick, Capriati and many others have behaved badly show their true colors. They are all great champions but Serena makes ONE mistake and she's horrible?
@samaybrahmin Look dumbass, the year McEnroe got defaulted was 1990. By then the point penalty rules WERE in place. Guess who reminded everyone of that after the Serena Williams incident? JOHN MCENROE when he was commentating! Because he said the same thing happened to him because they had changed the rules and he didn't know it. Maybe you should learn your tennis history first before trying to "educate" others fucktard!
@samaybrahmin And who said anything about her being "special" or not deserving to have been penalized? I didn't say that at all so clearly YOU are the one who doesn't understand. I'm simply saying that what she did is no worse than what many MANY others have done in the past. She fucked up one time in 15 years and she is demonized. McEnroe made a career out of it and he's a great champion? The obvious difference, Serena is a black woman! It's a double standard.
@captainbryce1 well theres a difference between telling someone he is the worst umpire ever or telling someone you'll put a ball through his/her throat. At least she could've apologized in the press conference after that, but no. Serena's attitude towards others has always been wrong because she thinks the world revolves around her. The camera is probably her only friend.
@ikazooka In her nearly 15 year career so far, this incident is the ONE example you or anyone else can find of her behaving "badly" or "wrong", whereas John McEnroe, Jimmy Connors, and Andy Roddick have made careers out of it! Serena (and Venus) are among the fairest players in the sport (unlike Henin or Capriati). I challenge you to produce evidence of her behaving "badly" other than this one example! She can't make one mistake but McEnroe can be a douch for 3 decades and it's okay? Get real!
@captainbryce1 I think you can remember the interviews last year in which she stated that she was the real no. 1 while safina was first in the rankings. She is also known for downplaying players who beat her. There is a reason why she's never won the sportsmanship award of the WTA. You know as well as I do that Serena's personality has always been shrouded in controversy. And for the record, I'm not okay with McEnroe or anyone else who behaves this way. I just said there was a difference.
@ikazooka actually no she said that she see's herself as number 2 in the world dinara deserves to be number one. she said she would love to be number 2 and have won 3 grand slams then to be 1 and not have won any
@ikazooka In the words of McEnroe, YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS! Guess what, Serena IS number 1 (still). Where is Safina? How many slams has she won? I believe Mary Carillo (her number one hater) also said that Serena is more deserving of number one (actually EVERYONE else did). That is a no brainer! "Downplaying" is simply a matter of perspective. Serena is a very fair player. Prove otherwise! The MEDIA creates controversy! They ALWAYS hated the Williams sisters (since the start). No surprise there!
@captainbryce1 typical american approach of the game. other players work very hard all year and if Safina has earned the most points on tour than she deserves to be number one. I don't care how many slams she's won at the moment. And about the no.1 quote, the quote you mentioned was obviously after Safina also won Rome and Madrid, whilst Serena first started the dispute before the Rome tournament. Know your facts.
@ikazooka WTF does being AMERICAN have to do with it? Get your facts straight FUCKTARD! You may not care that Safina hasn't won a single slam but guess what, nobody else cares that the computer ranked her number one for winning bullshit tournaments either! True tennis champions are remembered for winning majors. Serena has won 13, Safina has won 0! Serena also dominated and humiliated Safina in the AO final. Serena is more talented and more accomplished. In every respect SHE is the true number 1
@captainbryce1 what it has to do with being american? Simple. For many players its a big achievement to reach no. 1. We all know that Serena is very high in the grand slam pyramid, well good for her. That doesn't mean she deserves the spot automatically. Safina deserved it because she was the most constant player throughout the year at that moment, so don't hate on her. And I don't care what happened in the AO final. It's totally besides the point.
@ikazooka What's besides the point is your idiotic rant! This is such a ridiculous argument you are trying to have! Safina made number 1. Good for her! When Serena says that SHE is the true number one its because she is the best player in the world. It doesn't matter what the computer rankings say. WHAT PART ABOUT THAT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND? The rankings just tally up points but they don't tell you who the BEST player is! And that's the point that Serena was making. If anybody is hating it's you
@ikazooka By the way, db200508 is correct. When asked about her ranking, Serena said quote: "I see myself as number 2. It's where I am and I think Dinara did a great job to get to number 1. She won Rome and Madrid". She also said quote: "It is what it is but I would much rather be the number 2 ranked player having won 3 slams than be number one and not have any!" So she totally acknowledged her place in the rankings (despite your claims).
@ikazooka Oh and by the way, there ISN'T a big difference between what they did. Serena used harsher language and made gestures at the lineswoman. SO WHAT? Unless the lineswoman felt "threatened" by Serena (which she clearly didn't, only insulted) what Serena did simply amounted to unsportsmanlike conduct. She cussed the woman out, plain and simple. Please don't try to act like that's somehow "worse" than McEnroe beating and knocking over a stand or Connors calling the umpire an "abortion".
@ikazooka Finally, asking a player who JUST lost a match to "apologize" to a person whose incompetence contributed to that loss 15 minutes later in a press conference is unrealistic. I'm pretty sure Serena actually did apologize later on as well. I wouldn't have acted like Serena, but I also wouldn't have apologized at all. If you as a linesperson fuck up and I cuss you out for it, I'm not going to apologize to you later on. Me apologizing to you doesn't change the fact that you still fucked up!
@captainbryce1 well I don't think serena had a lot of other things on her mind in the 15 minutes in between, so why is that unrealistic? She had enough time to think it over again, knew that they were going to ask about it, so not apologizing at that point is definitely a choice she made. Besides, the lineswoman didnt fuck up, Serena made a foot fault. She couldn't even know if the decision was right or not. Typical that she doubts someone who gets paid for watching her feet instead of herself
@ikazooka First of all, you and that lineswoman are apparently the only people in this world that think Serena actually foot faulted! I recorded this match and have seen multiple replays on it. There was no foot fault. Every commentator (even the ones that demonized Serena's actions) agreed that it was a bad call. So, that's not even in question anymore! You questioning whether or not a player should doubt a linesperson is utterly ridiculous. That's the reason we have the challenge system now!
@captainbryce1 this isn't about if it was a foot fault or not. look, Serena can never judge if she stepped over the line while serving, because she's looking at the ball. So why would she immediately have to threaten the lineswoman? She can't judge whether it's a bad call or not. I think you're using double standards here because you're such a big fan of Serena. If she had apologized, I wouldn't even be fussing about this.
@ikazooka btw she has apologized countless times and paid her fine and tried to donate the money she was fined to her school in africa they told her she couldnt do that so she started a 92k mission to raise the money. she she has served her time. and she did not threaten that lady
@ikazooka Right now you are talking about her foot fault and in your previous post you said Serena made a foot fault but now you are also trying to say this is NOT about a foot fault? Make up your mind! There was no foot fault and it was a bad call plain and simple. Players complain about calls ALL THE TIME! Serena blew up at the lineswoman because she called her first foot fault of the match during match game to bring up match point (the most ridiculous moment in a match to call a foot fault).
@ikazooka I'm bringing up double standards because all of you people out there that love to constantly HATE on Serena for this conveniently forget that this has been Serena's ONLY blemish of sportsmanship while other celebrated champions have routinely demonstrated poor sportsmanship throughout their careers. You also conveniently forget that she DID apologize for the incident and it was over a year ago! So why are YOU still FUSSING about this? How many times does she have to apologize?
@captainbryce1 People with Serena's attitude always create controversy and there are people who love her and people who don't, end of story. Now the fact that you are returning every one of my reactions by four others definitely points out that you think everyone who isn't on your side here hates Serena and is racist, which isn't true. Besides that you also downplay every slip she's made, whilst you do condone other players for them. double standards..
@ikazooka I've demonstrated that you are full of shit because you are a hater. I never said that Serena was perfect. I simply said that she doesn't deserve to be demonized for ONE screw up (which is what haters like you love to do). You said she foot faulted, SHE DIDN'T. You said she never apologized. SHE DID. I didn't mention anything about race, YOU DID! You didn't acknowledge that she said Safina was number 1. You won't acknowledge that there is a double standard. People like you PROVE IT!
@captainbryce1 first of all, I said Serena apologized after she might have realised it was bad for her image. read it back. Second of all, the only camera we have to check if she foot faulted is the inconclusive camera which stands on her back, fact. You may not have mentioned race directly, but in every comment you're hinting towards it. I did acknowledge she said safina was no. 1, but only AFTER safina won rome and madrid as well. read my comments first.
@ikazooka No you didn't say that. You said quote: "At least she could've apologized in the press conference after that, but no." Secondly, you also said "Serena made a foot fault". If the foot fault was "inconclusive" then why are you so positive she made one? Your argument if full of holes and therefore nonsense! If you've picked up "race" from me then you are the one trying to make it into something racial. I never mentioned race, nor hinted at it. You are bringing race into this!
@captainbryce1 I'm not positive she made one, but I give the lineswoman the benefit of doubt because she's the only one that had a good look. Is that such a wrong call? If you were objective than you would agree with me on this. And I quote you to @samaybrahmin: "The obvious difference, Serena is a black woman". You're just looking for a way to demonize people who do not worship Serena by calling them racists, which is one of the cheapest arguing methods available. I'm off, hf on youtube...
@ikazooka You obviously don't know a whole lot about tennis if u have to ask whether or not that FF call was a good call, which it wasn't. Any time one has to look at a footfault call over 3 times to determine it then it was a horrible call by the lineswoman. IT WAS NO WAY THAT SHE CLEARLY SAW A DEFINITIVE FOOTFAULT.
@ikazooka ikazooka, I can assure you that I am objective on calls. I play tennis all the time but at my level players call their own lines. I think most foot fault calls are ridiculous! Linesmen are supposed to give the benefit of the doubt to the players. If the foot is clearly OVER the line sure, but if a foot might be touching the line, let it go! Calling a foot fault on a second serve in match game is ridiculous! If you are not 100% positive, you don't call it at a crucial stage of a match.
@ikazooka Secondly, publically interviewing the LOSING player 15 minutes after the match, before they've even had time to take a shower or reflect on what just happened is psychologically speaking the WORST time to conduct an interview. The media knows this and that's exactly why they do it. They want to catch the player when their emotions are heightened in hopes of them saying something they'll regret and make news. Expecting her to "apologize" at that point was UNREALISTIC!
@ikazooka Lastly, and this is just my personal opinion. Serena should NEVER have apologized at all! What the hell did she have to apologize for? Has John McEnroe ever apologized to an umpire after cursing him out? Has Jimmy Connors? Has Andy Roddick? I don't think so. Do football, baseball or basketball players ever apologize to the officials after arguments where the player felt they were wronged and ended up getting fined? I don't think so! DOUBLE STANDARD!
@captainbryce1 Don't worry about the haters, they will always make some kind of excuse to hate on serena. The author of this video just simply misleaded & spinned his own bias agst. Serena- bottom line.
@captainbryce1 That's definitely not true. The Serena outburst had an extremely high level of violent intent and the lineslady was genuinely frightened. Mcenroes outbursts have never seriously threatened anyone and they have always had a degree of comical appeal. Major difference. Nothing to do with her being of any particular race.
@byen8 Dude, STFU! You weren't on the court and you're not the lineswoman. So don't tell me how she fucking FELT! Anyways she didn't appear to be "frightened" (which would be stupid and ridiculous anyway), she mostly appeared embarrassed and insulted. Nobody seriously thinks that on-court Serena is going to attack someone with a racket and a ball you fucking tard! She was pissed off, lost her temper, turned "black" for a minute and then white America got scared. THE END. And it was 2 YEARS AGO!
@wesmartin91 You've gone off track Wes. You were trying to say that Serena was defaulted because she is black. I can see clearly that it was the intensity and the intent behind the attack. Anyone of any race would have been defaulted for what she did. Mcenroe never went up to someone and said I'm going to get this ball and shove it down your fucking throat.
@byen8 I never said she was defaulted because she was black dipshit! Don't put words in my mouth please. I already acknowledge that she lost her mind. But she didn't get "defaulted", she was simply penalized an extra point (on match point). There's a difference! In any case, she paid her outragious fine (which no other athlete in any sport, male or female has ever been fined), went on "probation" and apologized. The point is, it was 2 years ago. Why the fuck are you still stalking about this?
Good- these players are getting paid through their asses, they need to be penalised more, do you think in other jobs you could get away with being rude to customers and stay- your manager will wipe the floor with you- and maybe leave you in tears afterwards.

besides the rules change every single year.. You cant compare a twenty year old rule book to one in 2009
How dare Serena fans always make excuses like these ?

When Serena says that SHE is the true number one its because she is the best player in the world. It doesn't matter what the computer rankings say. WHAT PART ABOUT THAT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND? The rankings just tally up points but they don't tell you who the BEST player is! And that's the point that Serena was making. If anybody is hating it's you
captainbryce1 1 year ago
@ikazooka By the way, db200508 is correct. When asked about her ranking, Serena said quote: "I see myself as number 2. It's where I am and I think Dinara did a great job to get to number 1. She won Rome and Madrid". She also said quote: "It is what it is but I would much rather be the number 2 ranked player having won 3 slams than be number one and not have any!" So she totally acknowledged her place in the rankings (despite your claims).
captainbryce1 1 year ago
@ikazooka Oh and by the way, there ISN'T a big difference between what they did. Serena used harsher language and made gestures at the lineswoman. SO WHAT? Unless the lineswoman felt "threatened" by Serena (which she clearly didn't, only insulted) what Serena did simply amounted to unsportsmanlike conduct. She cussed the woman out, plain and simple. Please don't try to act like that's somehow "worse" than McEnroe beating and knocking over a stand or Connors calling the umpire an "abortion".
captainbryce1 1 year ago
@ikazooka Finally, asking a player who JUST lost a match to "apologize" to a person whose incompetence contributed to that loss 15 minutes later in a press conference is unrealistic. I'm pretty sure Serena actually did apologize later on as well. I wouldn't have acted like Serena, but I also wouldn't have apologized at all. If you as a linesperson fuck up and I cuss you out for it, I'm not going to apologize to you later on. Me apologizing to you doesn't change the fact that you still fucked up!
captainbryce1 1 year ago
@captainbryce1 well I don't think serena had a lot of other things on her mind in the 15 minutes in between, so why is that unrealistic? She had enough time to think it over again, knew that they were going to ask about it, so not apologizing at that point is definitely a choice she made. Besides, the lineswoman didnt fuck up, Serena made a foot fault. She couldn't even know if the decision was right or not. Typical that she doubts someone who gets paid for watching her feet instead of herself
ikazooka 1 year ago
@ikazooka First of all, you and that lineswoman are apparently the only people in this world that think Serena actually foot faulted! I recorded this match and have seen multiple replays on it. There was no foot fault. Every commentator (even the ones that demonized Serena's actions) agreed that it was a bad call. So, that's not even in question anymore! You questioning whether or not a player should doubt a linesperson is utterly ridiculous. That's the reason we have the challenge system now!
captainbryce1 1 year ago
@captainbryce1 this isn't about if it was a foot fault or not. look, Serena can never judge if she stepped over the line while serving, because she's looking at the ball. So why would she immediately have to threaten the lineswoman? She can't judge whether it's a bad call or not. I think you're using double standards here because you're such a big fan of Serena. If she had apologized, I wouldn't even be fussing about this.
ikazooka 1 year ago
@ikazooka btw she has apologized countless times and paid her fine and tried to donate the money she was fined to her school in africa they told her she couldnt do that so she started a 92k mission to raise the money. she she has served her time. and she did not threaten that lady
db200508 1 year ago
@ikazooka Right now you are talking about her foot fault and in your previous post you said Serena made a foot fault but now you are also trying to say this is NOT about a foot fault? Make up your mind! There was no foot fault and it was a bad call plain and simple. Players complain about calls ALL THE TIME! Serena blew up at the lineswoman because she called her first foot fault of the match during match game to bring up match point (the most ridiculous moment in a match to call a foot fault).
captainbryce1 1 year ago
@ikazooka I'm bringing up double standards because all of you people out there that love to constantly HATE on Serena for this conveniently forget that this has been Serena's ONLY blemish of sportsmanship while other celebrated champions have routinely demonstrated poor sportsmanship throughout their careers. You also conveniently forget that she DID apologize for the incident and it was over a year ago! So why are YOU still FUSSING about this? How many times does she have to apologize?
captainbryce1 1 year ago
@captainbryce1 People with Serena's attitude always create controversy and there are people who love her and people who don't, end of story. Now the fact that you are returning every one of my reactions by four others definitely points out that you think everyone who isn't on your side here hates Serena and is racist, which isn't true. Besides that you also downplay every slip she's made, whilst you do condone other players for them. double standards..
ikazooka 1 year ago
@ikazooka I've demonstrated that you are full of shit because you are a hater. I never said that Serena was perfect. I simply said that she doesn't deserve to be demonized for ONE screw up (which is what haters like you love to do). You said she foot faulted, SHE DIDN'T. You said she never apologized. SHE DID. I didn't mention anything about race, YOU DID! You didn't acknowledge that she said Safina was number 1. You won't acknowledge that there is a double standard. People like you PROVE IT!
captainbryce1 1 year ago
@captainbryce1 first of all, I said Serena apologized after she might have realised it was bad for her image. read it back. Second of all, the only camera we have to check if she foot faulted is the inconclusive camera which stands on her back, fact. You may not have mentioned race directly, but in every comment you're hinting towards it. I did acknowledge she said safina was no. 1, but only AFTER safina won rome and madrid as well. read my comments first.
ikazooka 1 year ago
@ikazooka No you didn't say that. You said quote: "At least she could've apologized in the press conference after that, but no." Secondly, you also said "Serena made a foot fault". If the foot fault was "inconclusive" then why are you so positive she made one? Your argument if full of holes and therefore nonsense! If you've picked up "race" from me then you are the one trying to make it into something racial. I never mentioned race, nor hinted at it. You are bringing race into this!
captainbryce1 1 year ago
@captainbryce1 I'm not positive she made one, but I give the lineswoman the benefit of doubt because she's the only one that had a good look. Is that such a wrong call? If you were objective than you would agree with me on this. And I quote you to @samaybrahmin: "The obvious difference, Serena is a black woman". You're just looking for a way to demonize people who do not worship Serena by calling them racists, which is one of the cheapest arguing methods available. I'm off, hf on youtube...
ikazooka 1 year ago
@ikazooka You obviously don't know a whole lot about tennis if u have to ask whether or not that FF call was a good call, which it wasn't. Any time one has to look at a footfault call over 3 times to determine it then it was a horrible call by the lineswoman. IT WAS NO WAY THAT SHE CLEARLY SAW A DEFINITIVE FOOTFAULT.
mssheltn1 1 year ago
@ikazooka ikazooka, I can assure you that I am objective on calls. I play tennis all the time but at my level players call their own lines. I think most foot fault calls are ridiculous! Linesmen are supposed to give the benefit of the doubt to the players. If the foot is clearly OVER the line sure, but if a foot might be touching the line, let it go! Calling a foot fault on a second serve in match game is ridiculous! If you are not 100% positive, you don't call it at a crucial stage of a match.
captainbryce1 1 year ago
@ikazooka Secondly, publically interviewing the LOSING player 15 minutes after the match, before they've even had time to take a shower or reflect on what just happened is psychologically speaking the WORST time to conduct an interview. The media knows this and that's exactly why they do it. They want to catch the player when their emotions are heightened in hopes of them saying something they'll regret and make news. Expecting her to "apologize" at that point was UNREALISTIC!
captainbryce1 1 year ago

Serena- bottom line.
mssheltn1 1 year ago
@captainbryce1 yes very tru, but mcnroe wasnt right either
millionairejh 1 year ago
@captainbryce1 That's definitely not true. The Serena outburst had an extremely high level of violent intent and the lineslady was genuinely frightened. Mcenroes outbursts have never seriously threatened anyone and they have always had a degree of comical appeal. Major difference. Nothing to do with her being of any particular race.
byen8 6 months ago
@byen8 Dude, STFU! You weren't on the court and you're not the lineswoman. So don't tell me how she fucking FELT! Anyways she didn't appear to be "frightened" (which would be stupid and ridiculous anyway), she mostly appeared embarrassed and insulted. Nobody seriously thinks that on-court Serena is going to attack someone with a racket and a ball you fucking tard! She was pissed off, lost her temper, turned "black" for a minute and then white America got scared. THE END. And it was 2 YEARS AGO!
wesmartin91 6 months ago
@wesmartin91 You've gone off track Wes. You were trying to say that Serena was defaulted because she is black. I can see clearly that it was the intensity and the intent behind the attack. Anyone of any race would have been defaulted for what she did. Mcenroe never went up to someone and said I'm going to get this ball and shove it down your fucking throat.
byen8 6 months ago
@byen8 I never said she was defaulted because she was black dipshit! Don't put words in my mouth please. I already acknowledge that she lost her mind. But she didn't get "defaulted", she was simply penalized an extra point (on match point). There's a difference! In any case, she paid her outragious fine (which no other athlete in any sport, male or female has ever been fined), went on "probation" and apologized. The point is, it was 2 years ago. Why the fuck are you still stalking about this?
