Yes. It's there in the footage I took a few minutes earlier from inside the car. It never moves but on a big screen tv you can see it looks like it is spinning. I didn't see it until I watched the footage later. If it was something normal I would've seen it because it's not too far away and I was looking all around at the scenery. At 0:57 you can clearly see there is not anything in the air in that area. What is keeping your balloon in the same spot for over three minutes over water in strong wind? The object is in a clip I took a few minutes before when we were driving up the road in the car. In high quality you can see the object in the same spot. There is no water disturbance, lots of wind and waves and no white water around it. The distance would make this thing huge and there is no impact at all on the water. If it was a boat it would look like a boat, too big for a Zodiac, featureless, motionless. It does seem to spin though. It was in the shot from inside the car several minutes before we pulled off the road and it was in the same spot.

Before this time I have driven past the spot several times at different times of day and year and stopped at different vantage points, it's not a big island. It's the only road on that part of the island. Hawaii doesn't allow buoys, piers, pilings, boathouses, docks, moorings etc in what they consider sacred waters. They keep the boating stuff to a minimum mostly near ports/harbors. It is not in the water, it is not disturbing the water. Notice the other rocks and how they cause white water.

There is so much UFO "evidence" that involves shaky video that captures an inexplicable, fleeting speck of something. The fantastic claim of extraterrestrial spacecraft is something that would require the support of so much more evidence to eliminate the myriad of other more mundane possibilities than are presented by this video. Evidence of ET origin needs to be far more compelling than this. You've got a hovering bird or a rock, pier, buoy or boat in the water. Nothing more.

When you find out more about this particular video you will find that through the process of elimination your options of what it could be reach zero. If it is in the water it is a half mile away making it big meaning it would have more impact on the water than it does. It actually has no impact on the water leaving us to assume it is in the air. So then now what are our options?

It sort of appears and fades, changes in density and shape as if it were being revealed and obscured by wave action. Birds can hover against a steady breeze, but It looks to me like it's something in the water. Could be an anchored Zodiac where someone is diving. The dark area in the water indicates rocks or coral. That's where I'd dive.

I have a map that shows the mile markers along that road. I know where I was when I recorded and about where it would be if it was in the water. The camera was in full zoom. I've got other footage of boats in full zoom further away than a half mile and you can plainly see the details. also you can see the yellow road sign to the right of the shot. It's about 8-9' high. You can compare the size of the object with the height of the sign and get an idea of how big it would be if it was in the water

When I was out of the car recording the footage you watched (there's some just before from inside the car) I would have been a half mile away from where you suppose it was on the water. You have to consider distance too
