  • So, how did you break the news to your bosses?

"Mother nature instituted a DOS Flood attack on the servers"?

  • i think the music gave this video all it's thumbs up lol.

  • Water cooling from nature lol.

  • But on the other hand, maybe the hosting charges are low at this provider! :P

It's so reliable, becouse the servers are not underwater... :D

  • this is SO SAFE :D

  • dam your screwed!±

  • 0:32 - I've heard of flood cabling, but that's just ridiculous.

  • lol, best thing to say in a situation like this is "I didn't do it!"

  • NOT your video!

  • haha, true put it where they order it to be put, wait for it to break, the re-apply asking them. " do you want a new server room?"

  • Am I the only one who is now hungry for ramen?

  • LOL This video is epic! Great music too. I worked at an insurance company and a fountain in front of the building leaked down into the tape vault. All the tapes had to be covered with plastic sheets. Then I worked at a mill where the roof leaked right over the server cabinets. They built a new state-of-the-art data center and it flooded under the floor. Dumb designs.

  • incredible stupid room for computing stuff...

  • In soviet russia you bring server water.

  • I love the song. That sucks though

  • Can someone explains to me ? Cause I don't get it. There is a ventilation grid up the server room, on the streets... Is that for real ?

  • @charlelie no... it's apparantly a duct for the cellar-windows and the duct's sink wasn't capable of getting this water masses unter control, so it flows through the rubber seals of the window.

I don't think this will have much effect on the servers. the water builds a pool under the main floor of the serverroom and they pump it away already... as long as the water doesn't enter the server itself and only short-circuits the powerline, the servers should be safe if shut down.

  • so thats where lag and my data went....

    strange to thought water=performance XD

  • LOL Who puts a serverroom in a basement? with a WINDOW and possible flooding..

Prob a indian engeneer without a degree....

  • @XxMEVANSxX You put the serves where you are ordered to ^-^

  • no floor drains...fuck

  • O KURWA O.O

  • youtube.com/watch?v=3jnqieV0m_s&feature=related

  • Water cooled! :D

  • Probably due to improper drainage around the building. Not only is that bad for the servers, but its bad the building as well.

  • Oh man, I'd hate to be the admin or engineers or have to come in and clean up after that mess. That must have been a disaster.

  • Now THATS how you water cool

  • dont just sit there plug the window with caulk or something lolol

  • lol, how did they not know that was going to happen. who designed that building? lol

  • super processor cooling so overclock to 1 thz per core and its a quad per server

  • Well, did the servers keep running? lol.

  • @winrid not sure , but i will not ...

  • Yeah, if that was my server room (thank god its not) I would shutdown all power except for the lighting and crank up the pumps lol

  • Cause of that is -my- Server room on the 2nd floor.

  • That's expensive!

  • nobody thought of getting a pump in asap rather than just videoing it happen

  • @drjturner Check out the red fire hose pumping water out at 0:42 but it looks like its pumping just as much as is comeing back in

  • lol design FAIL

  • that suck ass

  • fuck copyrights.

  • Whoever set it up like that was an..err..IDIOT

  • Is that web host that went down in the UK when their basement flooded? Think it was last year.

  • I like the singular cone in the middle of the room!

  • WOW OUCH!!

theres a few grand blown away!

  • Is that a webserver system, thats a lot of servers. Does the wireing actually need to be replaced after that, or is it just a matter of cleaning it up?

  • dude...ouch...holy...omfg...

  • Ouch

  • That's some good water cooling!

  • LOL

  • That cant be very good!

  • water cooled!!

  • reason number 9 for raised floors. Although I admit, I would rather do a new server room from scratch than have to completely rewire an existing one.

  • ah yes watercooling, not a bad idea!

  • XDDDDDDD

  • i would be freaking out if i seed the water coming thru the window at 1.08

  • aw man that sucks =/ i hope nobuddy got shocked lol

  • shutdown -h now

  • WATER COOLED :D

  • lol

  • haha

  • HAHAHAHA xDDD

  • My serverroom hasn´t any windows. Its climated enough and its safer against thiefs!

  • Time to replace the 1000km of cat6...

  • and 5000km of cat5

  • I bet that kept ya busy for a while.

  • Lukaly they have a raised floor.:)

  • What else? :)

  • Thats not a server room, its a telephone switching office, or telephone central, or whats it called in english,

    but, geat view thoug

  • LoL bummer indeed,rly sucks....:/

  • omg:D

  • thats seem... xDDD

  • Water-cooled server room!

  • More like water destroyed!

  • someones getting sued.

  • thats why the world of warcraft servers were not working on Tuesday

  • Of course, because they definitely DON'T do maintinence every Tuesday. BTW, where does it say that those were Blizzard servers? Hmm?

  • Oh, the Carnage!!!
