  • I think you should give them at least slightly cooked meat just in case. in the wild no problem but nowadays there are so many germs and bacteria and shit in our food before it's cooked.

  • All she has ever eaten is raw meat, so I am not sure if the guarding trait is hers or due to the fact she's eating raw steak ;)

  • my cat did the same. You just gotta work with them like you do with dogs. but it's a prefence with cats (my opinion). for me it's easy to move a 5lb cat from his dish vs. a 85lb dog.

    I only do it if something gets in there dish or is stuck to their meat that i think will make 'em sick.

  • Wow, I have never seen a cat guard his meat. I thought guarding is an exclusive dog trait. It is too funny. Very cute kitty.
