A ship wrecked in salt water is fair game to any and all.A guy could make thousands in scrap metel if he had a small barge and a couple of cutting torches and a light(5 ton) boom. Cut and hoist,cut and hoist.So easy.I scrapped 5 combines one year with a torch but the price of metal dropped just before i hauled it to the scrap yard in portland oregon.When metal gets to $200 a ton its worth it then.One peice of sheet metal on the side of a ship could weigh 1 ton,,,,easy.

@YansiEvre98 It is the SS America. The SS America was launched in 1940 and although once a prize ship it was allowed to fall into disrepair and changed hands many times. She is shown beached at Fuertaventura, Canary Islands where she is disintegrating, very little now remains of her.

@BlueDagger20 no, Titanic is like two miles below the sea, SS America is the ship you saw, it ran aground and broke in two pieces after it's tow-line snapped in the 90's, it remained there for years, first the stern dissapeared below the waves, then the bow did as well, it's barely visible under the water now.
