I've got a Mazda now. My old car died, but I knew I wanted a Mazda. I've got the 2.3 L Mazda6i. Its quick but nothing like what I wanted. I couldn't afford an MS6 sadly. What kind of money am I talking if I wanted to start transforming this 160 hp 6i more towards 270 hp MS6 territory?

I've got 120k miles on the engine and the transmission and I realize thats dreadful but am I going to have to replace them both in order to start adding more power? If you have the time to read this, then thanks!

Mazda 8's are garbage. 6's and 3's were meant for circut track racing they still use them n win all the time. To be blunt I like the way mazda 6's look but there not worth tting and trying to drag. Winkle rotary motors are garbge as well its a fault for mazda trying to be ahead. The 90s rx7s were beyond time in looks but lacked in the powerplant that's why every one who owns one wasts no time on a motor swap. @Tunerboy1990 dude are you retarded? You do know that one of the main benefits for a properly setup twin turbo system is FASTER SPOOL than a big single turbo setup. If you were getting a slower spool on a TT setup with the equivelent twins to equivelent single. You my friend didnt build it right. Please do more research before posting. And dont come to me with oh....turbos have ball bearings and better material now so a single will spool faster...um ...same for twin.

no hate but you would get more power out of a single turbo then a twin set up..

trust me ive had single and twin turbo set ups. that car would be on higher boost with single tubro then a twin. single u possible can have it at 14-15 with some parts add. injectors etc. but see your running all the mods on 2 turbos. and all the money wasted. no hate just tryin to help.

my speed6 run 15.5 psi from 2500 to 5800 rpm... integral transmission.. im sure ill smoke a low boost with stock engine V6 on the quarter... easily...

dude wtf are you talking about with an integral transmission, lol. lets see.....your speed 6 is running 15psi or so on a KO4. so the would make you pretty much STOCK. on that note... a 230-240whp or so(if you have an intake or minor bolt ons) speed 6 that weights 3600lbs without the driver. now my car is a twin turbo 3.0L V6 running two super 60 turbochargers at 12psi with meth and approximately 400whp or so at a weight of 3400lbs or so without me in it. so do the math please.

yea bro..my 6 is twin turbo. I think you mean compression is too high not too low. The compression is 10:1 on the stock motor and yes u can boost that with no issue. Just have to tune it and watch how much boost u run

Why get it dynod right now? I just started tuning it today. I have all the timing pulled and currently super rich. I was close to 250 all motor. And a car doesn't have to sound fast to be fast. There aren't external wastegates to make it sound fast. Its smooth power and it is fast.

I actually like the way the addition of the turbos quieted down my exhaust from before. No I can sneak by cops easier, lol

Naw naw I know. Maybe since the car sounds real deep now it sounds slow. If you properly showed the tach and the speedo I'd think otherwise. That's why I said it SOUNDS slow, it didn't say it was actually slow. The thing with turbos is that when you have a real loud exhaust (the one you have) it usually quiets it down. Sounds better too. :) As I said before, good job.
