I have Castle of Shikigami 2 on PS2 and it's a great game also, hard yeah, but that's cool, the games of today are just too easy. Unfortunately it suffered from the poor translation and english dialog as well
these reviewers dont get shmups EVER , THE POINT of modern shmups is to master the stages and figure a strategy to score has high as possible thats the whole reason to come back to it again and again .
The mismatch between the expression of the guy who says "Of course, it's nothing, stupid." and the way the line is delivered is priceless. Also the fact that there's a comma after 'Of course' in the text but the actor says it without the comma.
i played a couple games (ex.aegis wing xbl arcade and a flash game that i can't remember )like this and found those enjoyable so this one might actually be fun for me looks easy but i guess that's what u get for normal mode.
its a shmup..who cares about voice acting?..haha

bought it not long ago ;( it doesnt have the funny dubb. anyway didnt now what to except when i bought it, all iwanted was a shnumps game.
