  • Many ships have not made it through this channel and lives have been lost. In 1991 you had to follow a narrow channel in the rock below. You can see the ship taking a steep turn in 3:18 to follow it.

    Today this channel has been dug out and made straight for easier access.

    1989 f.ek. Mariane Danielsen stranded there.
