  • Health care is too cumbersome of a person, family, or society if it is not single payer, plain and simple the current Health care law sucks and it is because of the republicans.

  • You see republicunts, you cant fuck with seniors without losing you greedy bastards! look at Paul Ryans fuckin ears! They are as wide as Mt Eveerst is big! Holy Shit!

  • A five year old gets on the internet talks shit hiding behind the curtain and call others pussies pot, kettle, black insert reference

  • fuck you and fuck Paul Ryan you right wing pussy!

  • @padude64 i assume you must lack the requisite number of neurons to converse without resorting to 4 letter epitaphs. You could try using a dictionary to find the proper words to express a cognitive thought.

  • fuck the tea party! I am out to kick ass!

  • @padude64 troll alert please refrain from feeding the troll

  • fuck the tea party! They are fucking the economy up! Asskissers Boehner and McConell suck dick!

  • @padude64 I have no doubt in my mind that Boehner sucks but on what facts are basing your accusations of the tea party. I think u just dont like them because they dont use pixie dust and appoint unicorns to fix the economy like obama has

  • Ad Congress has a worse approval rating than Obama! Why? Because of the tea party turds!!!!!!!!!!

  • @padude64 Congress had a lower approval rating with democrats as the majority during the bush administration whats your point

  • @iggsta3o5 The tea party is not popular dude!

  • @padude64 The Tea Party makes more sense econamically than any democrat in current office. Call them what u want but the tea party makes some valid economic points. As a student of economics I can say that the teaparty has helped the republicans move away from their spending habit from the bush era back to as they were prior. The only reason people hate the Tea Party is because the news likes to portray them horribly the progressive movement under T. Roosevelt went throught the same thing

  • @iggsta3o5 The tea party does not make sense. For example you said you are a student of economics I will take that as you went to college. Meaning your parents went heavily into debt so they can invest in you and hopefully one day they will have a decent return on investment. This is what the country has to do it has to continually go in to debt so that tomarow they might have a good return on investment. This is macroeconomics very different from normal everday economics.

  • @idicula1979 First I was lucky to have the GI Bill parents didnt pay. Second the reason you cant spend yourself into a better investment is mostly because of the public education system. College or university is a seperate unit all together because it is for the most part a private market system, and even then I could find flaws. However Public education is a perfect example since the department of educations creation in 1979 student test scores have taken a decline followed by stagnation.

  • @idicula1979 While the scores remained stagnant we have increased per student spending and estimate of 15,000 per student. More than any other country. Still internationally our students have fared poorly by the fourth grade, by middle school we fared worse, and by high school the US could no longer compete. The solution has always been to invest more, but has yet to yield a result. You can invest others money all you want but most of the time government is not efficient at picking winners and

  • Respond to this video... losers. Solyndra for example. Bailouts, Stimulus, Taxes, all this spending and printing of failed investments tend to devalue the dollar and create an inflationary market. Investments are good for the economy but only when we the true economic engine of this country are the investors not the government. The government cannot manage the population as a whole. You cannot create a public education system that takes into account each student and their needs but yet private

  • Respond to this video... learning centers, and charter schools can. The government is no better at knowing how to invest your money than you are. It is simple logic that I in my self interest am better to invest for myself on my own needs than a government official who usually caters to lobbyists and special interests with my money

  • @iggsta3o5 so why not actually take the lobbyists out of the picure and have the government acutally represent the people? isnt the government meant to be the voice and will of the people?

  • @MrRazzeldazzel88 The government was never meant to be the voice of the people if they where then the peoples voices would be mute. The problem with trying to take out lobbyists with our current system is that our government who continues to expand its programs is made up of individuals who are human and no different than anyone else hence the more government intervention we have the more power lobbyists gain. Take government programs out of the picture and now corporations have no one to lobby

  • Respond to this video... The more we ask federal government to represent us on the federal level then the majority will always impose on the minority but if you cut the fed and bring everything to the state level and return states rights then we as individuals have more say, control, and power over our own lives. After all at the federal level the only ones with enough power to lobby are corporations, at the state level we the individuals are the lobbyists

  • @iggsta3o5 LMFAO, We all know state governments have flawless records when it comes to representing minorities.

  • @DakoHawk1 Only because overall lobbyists represent this country at the federal level but let the states handle the issue after all this is a republic

  • @DakoHawk1 Its not like the Fed has any better of a record. However at state level its easier for citizens to regulate the scope of government rather than to leave it at a federal level where it would be bought off by corporations and lobbyists. Since the beginning we have always been a Republic not a Democracy.

  • @idicula1979

It works unless you throw money on your son who has very poor record at school. That is not a good return...possibly none at all. Quite frankly the son looks like he is a lazy azz junkie not even attending the school.

The best investment is to allow people to decide where to invest by nor depriving them of their money (tax money going to inefficient programs). Bureaucrats have very low record all over the world in investing to the future.

  • Paul Ryan is another greedy right wing asshole! You people hate dems because of Dont ask dont tell! You republicans are well know hate filled bastards and I will nail all of you in a debate!

  • Do not blame Obama for the economic mess! Blame the freaking idiotic tea party! They simply hate this president Bush is a big role to play as well!

  • @padude64 your retarded. hopefully you're under 18.

  • @SuperMichaelHawkins I second this.

  • @SuperMichaelHawkins Your tea freaks are messing up the economy and If you want to debate me live let me know asshole!

  • They will conveniently start to deny your health care when they believe you are getting too old and have used up your share of the government money.

  • @RexEverythin Pray tell why the private sector would not do the same, only worse.

  • We are now a AA rated country, run by a ZZ rated POTUS.

  • Paul Ryan knows a whole lot of NOTHING.

  • @ananovoice KNOWS MORE THAN THE PIECE OF SHIT OBAMA! OBAMA IS A SOCILAIST PIECE OF SHIT HELL BENT ON DESTROYING AMERICA!

17 MONTHS IS ALL YOU AND THE TEA PARTY NEED TO CONTINUE TO MAKE A FOOL OF YOURSELVES.

  • @ananovoice GIVE IT UP TROLL YOU ALWAYS LOSE WHEN YOU GO UP AGAINST ME JUST LIKE OBAMA IS GOING TO LOSE IN 2012! THANK GOD FOR THAT. VOTE THYE SOCIALIST MUSLIM OBAMA OUT! OBAMA IS A COMPLETE FAILURE AND CAUSED THE DOWNGRADE OF AMERICA FROM AAA TO AA! WHAT A JOKE OBAMA IS!

  • @impeachobamanow2010 "GIVE IT UP..." Why I am winning the argument here. Here is why;

HOW IS THAT GOVERMENT MEDICARE / WELFARE WORKING FOR YOU IMPEACHO?

"SUPPORT IT, DON'T KNOCK IT, OR YOU'LL LOOSE IT"

TO BAD OBAMAS POLL NUMBERS KEEP DROPPING!

  • I was a democrat till I turned 24 and got some brains. Anyone who likes being owned by the gov't should just sign over their possessions to them and live on the streets of DC. As for the far-left, hell will freeze over before they ever make ant sense., they are the worst kind of idealogue, taking advantage of the actual members of unions, welfare cases, low IQ people, and kids who as yet haven't learned what the worls is all about.

  • @joeasmythe NOBODY WANTS TO BE OWNED BY THE GOV'T YOU HALF WIT. GOV'T IN THE USA ONLY LENDS A HAND WHEN THE PRIVATE SECTOR SCREWS UP, OR WHEN PEOPLE ARE DOWN ON THEIR LUCK, OR WHEN PEOPLE ARE OUT OF LUCK BECAUSE OF DISABILITY/SICKNESS/OLD AGE.

GOV'T IN THE USA IS NOT A DICTATORSHIP. IT IS FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, IS THE PEOPLE.

    OBAMA 2012'

  • The Republicans even go and flag anything as spam that says anything negative about their lunatic hero Paul Ryan

  • Very useful information. I am very interested. thanks boss...

  • @TonikHealthInsurance I agree with GOPers repeal Obamacare, but part two of my plan would be a Medicare for all Act.

  • As someone living in a country with a Universal (Socialised) Healthcare System, the US healthcare debate fascinates me. I've watched so many videos, & read so many debate articles on it & I have to admit, I still don't get it. I don't get why there are people in America so against Universal Healthcare. I see people talking about Universal Healthcare like it's some dark ages horror show & that is just so far outside the reality of the system I have access to, it doesn't make sense at all to me.

  • @ceke72 That is because you don't see the alternative. Some of us have experienced BOTH systems and WE know just how bad a centralized system is.

  • @ceke72 It isn't a case of making sense or not, it's a case of can we (as a people of the U.S.) afford it. There are many moral and ethical issues in play here besides just the obvious. Government is not a charity and should not behave like one. Government makes it's decisions based on what is politically beneficial for them not what is best for the citizens it's supposed to be serving.

  • Hopefully, by 2012, seniors will wake up and realize that Ryan's bill ensures that Medicare will last for a long time. Under obamacare, seniors will soon find out how their costs will escalate, and benefits will go down. Socialized medicine, like in Europe is a horror. It is hard to overcome the lies spread by the democrats, but I am sure American seniors will see through them

  • @joeasmythe Are you nuts the Republicans are going to take money from the elderly and the poor to pay for the deficit caused by the George W Bush era tax cuts for the rich and the two wars he got us into. They also want to extend those cuts for the rich by calling them job creators lofl Look at the statistics that dont come from FOX news These so called job creators didnt use their extra cash to create jobs they just saved it. Thats a fact.

  • How to balance the budget: Cut medicare, medicate, foodstamps, housing vouchers for poor people, create a flat tax at 10%, then cut all entitlements for poor people and keep all entitlements for corporations as they create jobs, privatize the department of transportation. As a hedge fund manager I use a personal helicopter. if you cant afford a helicopter you are just lazy and need to work harder.

  • @peapodsss

Come on!!! Don't you know that the way to balance the budget is to lie and demonize ANYONE who even dars to propse a budget. Wait for the entire govt to go bankrupt, and then "never let a crisis go to waste" to push through liegislation that requires all companies to route their payrolls through the fed govt, and then send everyone a montly check for the same amount and allow the govt to keep the rest. That way it's "fair"

  • @EchoMike03 That is not what is going on here. I want whatever it is you are smoking. It must be good.

  • @Meade556

Please. That's the only real way to reach the liberal/statist utopia. Where there are no haves and have nots. And if you think the paycheck thing is so radical that it will never be implemented...Britian tried to pass it last year I believe it was. Oh and wait til they set their eyes on your private retirement accounts. They can't just let you keep all that money. There are far too many ppl who deserve it more than you do. I'm just following the rhetoric of the statist.

  • @EchoMike03 No you're not, you demonstrate a clear lack of understanding of statism and American liberal ideology. American Liberalism was always about making people's lives less stressful, making it so that a working class cheque was always a good one so that life would lose much of its dinginess and become softer, create happier human beings, a world where if people wanted to become wealthy, by all means, as long as it does not adversely affect your fellow man.

  • @EchoMike03 American Liberalism thus believes that Business is only to be upheld when it is clearly performing a societal benefit, once it ceases to do that, its existence should be terminated. Getting wealthy in itself and that being the sole purpose in life is dangerous and bad business. When America was more Statist and Liberal, we had the New Deal, the 50s and 60s. Taxes were high and the richest man was worth 4 billion dollars.

  • @EchoMike03 Liberalism is thus, in many ways, a philosophy on how to ensure the rich stay rich, as it believes when the masses are prosperous, the well to do will do even better. Surprise, surprise, that theory of economics consistently works. Even towards the end of the liberal period, the economy simply stagnated in the late seventies due to foreign influence, but the economy never shrank.

  • @Meade556

"Liberalism is thus, in many ways, a philosophy on how to ensure the rich stay rich,"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I almost spit out my cereal that was so funny.

Thank you for that I needed a good laugh.

Democrats want to "ensure the rich stay rich". You gotta be kidding me.

  • @EchoMike03 Try the period of American Economic History between 1933-1979. The rich got richer. The poor got richer. The middle class got richer. Everyone won.

  • @Meade556

The fact that you included the Carter years is fantastic!

Those were some grand old days there. HAHAHAHAHA

  • Paul Ryan 's bill ensures that seniors will retain medicare for many years. obama's obamacare will ensure that Medicare goes bankrupt, no matter how many left-wing goons didrupt town-hall meeting with their lies.

  • @joeasmythe

If I were a Republican in a debate, or Town Hall, when someone ties to regurgitate that lie, I'd ask all current Medicare recipients to please stand, then have everyone 54 or older stand as well, and simply state the "None of you will be affected".

What's sad is that you have a media that continues to simply parrot this lie, and does not call any Democrat on it.

    So frustrating.

  • @EchoMike03 It is you who are a fool. A lot of the people on Medicare vehemently oppose the plan. They say "I want my children and grandchildren to have what I have! Hands off Medicare!"

  • Everyone in Washington knows that Paul Ryan has been told he has a million dollar a year lobbying job for the health industry if he gets his health care law passed.

Here's how it works-he lies through his teeth to get it passed-the healthcare insurance industry makes billions more from vouchers while still denying it's customers health care.

Meanwhile this nigger gets a cushy one million dollar a year job as a lobbyist. Way to sell out your own people Ryan!

  • @TheKmbt

Wow you know everyone in Washinton. Impressive.

  • @EchoMike03 And he has posted this EXACT same message under several different alias's on anything to do with Ryan.

Vetwolf must have gotten caught with this spam so he needed a new account.

  • Free health care sounds like the cheapest method.Unless you are picking up the tab.

  • I'm proud to live in his district :)

  • Comment removed

  • @stringlov Which means saying no to the Ryan plan and a yes to a "Medicare for all" Act. Buy health insurance from the Government. Its cheaper and guaranteed.

  • @Meade556- sounds good to me,

  • @Meade556 I guess a knock that is based on health care taking all of the tax revenue in just a couple years of the federal government doesnt mean anything? It's based on money, not that we dont want to provide insurance.

  • @Meade556 Not when the Gov't can't pay for it. That's the point he's been making all this time. The Gov't is already bankrupt. This was 2 years ago.

  • @MavHunter20XX The Govt is not bankrupt and considering what a Medicare for all act-buy health insurance from the Govt-is it could afford it and it would be cheaper and more effective than private health. As for deficit reduction, correctly structured revenue enhancement would be the best thing.

  • @MavHunter20XX We would have $1.58 trillion toward deficit reduction if we taxed US corporate overseas profits at the full rate and prohibited and punished the use of tax havens. We could have $736 billion in deficit reduction if we taxed capital gains and dividends as ordinary income. A 5.4% surtax on those making over 1 million in salary would yield 383 billion. A speculation fee would yield $500 billion, if the estate tax is put back where it was that would yield 330 billion.

  • @MavHunter20XX It is important to note that the estate tax only applies to the top 0.3% of the population and that these plans do not include the 4.3 trillion that would be yielded from letting the rest of the Bush and Obama tax cuts expire. Through revenue alone we could have a bigger deal than anything in Washington. Oh and by ending the wars and adding about 100,000 Feds to the DoD workforce we could crack down on the massive waste by contractors in DoD. This would save AT LEAST 2 trillion

  • @Meade556 Whoa whoa whoa, slow down there. Too bad you can't put this all in one comment. OK for one thing Socialized HC is failing in a bunch of countries, and when i say that I mean being able to pay for it. Keep in mind that this is the Gov't paying for all dispite if they are working or not. Also keep in mind we are still barrowing money just to pay for interests. I cannot agree that tax cuts will make a huge impact but I do agree that oil should be taxed the shit out of them (see next)

  • @MavHunter20XX Well Obamacare is not proper socialized medicine as there is no public option. As someone who has lived in a country with Socialized Medicine, Britain, I can tell you the NHS does not put an intolerable strain on the budget and it is fact a very good system. For about $8000 a year it provides full comprehensive coverage and I have never been happier. It is this way because the Govt runs it as a non-profit organization.

  • @Meade556 - 8000 a year?!?!?! thats insane. I get full coverage, PRIVATELY, for less than 2 grand. You tell me whats better?

  • @MrWatson235 8000 for four people. 8000 for four people, and if you are trying to cover 4 people with 2 grand i our system, good luck to you.

  • @MavHunter20XX We could have had a public plan, which you have to buy into like private healthcare, but as it is a Govt operation it would be cheaper and produce better results as there is no profit motive and zero incentive to deny care, than private health. We would immediately arrest healthcare costs, save businesses money and free up more money for consumer spending. As for tax revenue, revenue ideas can cut up to 7.5 trillion from the deficit then you only need 2.5 trillion in cuts.

  • @Meade556 Yeah, it would work perfectly, just like Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security ! And unicorns would skip along rainbow bridges !

  • @donde2k Well those programs have worked out and SocSec has a 2.6 trillion dollar surplus. Nothing is ever perfect, but it is better than what the United States currently has.

  • @Meade556 .....if they don't strike down fuel prices since it is one of the most greatest forces hurting our economy. I also do agree that we need to start isolating (bring back the troops) that are participating in the draining wars, at least for now. I think our troops understand when we tell them that we are running out of money and victory cannot be acheived today. I do agree there is massive fraud, waste, and abuse w/ the use of contractors.

  • @MavHunter20XX Also, even if Obama care doesn't take effect till 2014, keep in mind how many that is now unemployed and how much it'll take to cover everyone in the country, at this rate there won't be enough revenue to keep up the system, it is already a miscaraged policy. Already this system is sucking so much money not only from tax rev, but the current midicare/medicade and SS? WTF? The people who are already working are putting money into SS only to find that the Gov't is garninshing it.

  • @MavHunter20XX You'll probably disagree w/ all that I've said, but this is how I'm seeing it. I already had my paycheck threatened twice this year, and it's bugging the shit out of me. I don't even know if I should expect the same tax return next year. I'm seeing more beggars who are younger and more cars that looks like it's carrying all of the families possesions (I don't think they're camping in the trad. sense). I'm already prep. for what seems like eventual disintergration of the gov't

  • O:

  • Paul Ryan is Peter keating (The Fountainhead). A vote for Paul Ryan is a vote for the very financial institutions that destroyed our economy. Lets make sure we keep giving these people our money & votes, they do so well with it.

Lets keep giving our country over to our rightful masters. The ones who already destroy us with fractional banking & 100% markup on the printing of the Federal Reserve Note. Paul Ryan is a snake oil salesman for the corrupt banking system.

  • The ONLY way to bring jobs back to America is to lower the minimum wage to $2/hr.

This is the only way we can compete with China. Paul Ryan and my fellow republicans need to act on this now. Employers also should not have to carry the burdern of paying for health care either. Go get em Paul!

  • Now Ryan wants to give vouchers to buy health insurance! What about pre-existing conditions which old people do tend to have? What happens when the insurance runs out? Who deals with the insurance company if it challenges a claim? Instead of trying to dismantle Medicare, why not look at ways to hold down health costs? And what is wrong about asking the rich to contribute to the welfare of the country that made their fortunes possible?

  • @vdarte The "rich" already pay more than their fair share. The top 10% pay about 47% of taxes and you want more? How about the 51% who paid NO taxes contributing THEIR fair share instead of leeching off the few taxpayers there are left?

  • Ryan and the GOP believe in choices!! That's right-if they have their way senior citizens will have to make lots of choices - one choice they'll have to make will be between health care and food! SUCKERS!!!

  • I'm neither a republican nor a democrat, I vote for candidates. This guy's budget proposal includes subsidies to big oil companies and leaving middle class behind. Big oil companies don't need subsidies, they make a lot of money and are not being affected by the recession. I want to see someone propose a plan to help all americans not just the millionaires.

  • @TheIrieGamer What oil subsidies?

  • @adrienspawn I can't type the whole budget plan here but I read it and I recommend to people interested inthese things to go find it and read it too. In summary the plan is not proposing new subsidies but is keeping the $40 billion tax "loopholes" for big oil companies while eliminating investments in clean energy technologies. Clean technologies are a $2 trillion worldwide market, I think it is something the US should look into and take advantage.

  • @TheIrieGamer It's not a true market however. It's artificial demand. The government should spend any money propping up or bailing out any markets.

  • @adrienspawn shouldnt***

  • @adrienspawn All markets were emerging markets at one point. Economic trends show the clean technologies market is growing at a very fast pace similar to the computer market back in the day. Also I didn't say anything about bailing out markets, all I said was it is something worth looking into. Maybe you're right and maybe you're not. When it comes to economics and finances it is hard to make any prediction no matter how much historical or actual data you have.

  • @TheIrieGamer If the market wants green energy, it will get green energy just like it gets every single other commodity and service. The problem when the government interferes is that it has to increase revenue to cover the costs, which punish everyone, and also that it creates an inefficient market that has to be continually helped in order to survive, while also killing jobs in other sectors. That's what I'm getting at. But it gains political points and people don't understand economics so....

  • @adrienspawn that is the same reason why Wall Street is going to crash again, government intervention.

  • @TheIrieGamer I like to think that government will think twice before meddling in markets given what happened in 08.

  • @adrienspawn the sad part is that I don't think they will since the supporters of many people in Congress made a lot of money out of it. The profit driven policies and laws passed by Congress is what have this great nation where it is right now. What happened to the people like John F. Kennedy that didn't care about big corporations? Its time to create a government that benefits all the people, not just the wealthy and stop being a republican or a democrat, it is time to be a US Citizen.

  • @TheIrieGamer I'm a libertarian, and that's what it's about. "All I am is me. And all I want is to live free." To respect that people voluntarily enter into cooperation in companies is part of that, and we benefit largely from it (look at everything you own). But the perversion of government in cooperating with some, pushing down others, all while wasting consumer's money is unacceptable.

  • @adrienspawn Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying ALL corporations are bad. Just the ones that don't care about public safety and all they want if to make more money no matter the consequences. And those are the ones that the governemnt usually sides with.

  • @TheIrieGamer The government usually sides with a company based on it's size, not really it's ruthlessness. After all the function of every company is to make money. Competition alone usually solves the problems regulation is looking to solve. If a company is doing something bad, and people believe that it is bad, then it will be less profitable. If it's bad enough, people wouldn't do business with it. The green energy market is always sided by the government, but that doesn't fit the criteria.

  • @adrienspawn Exactly, they side with companies based on size. What happens is that many of biggest companies, not all, are the bad ones. Take for example Monsanto, huge company and very profitable. What are they doing? Causing lots of problems for farmers that are trying to grow their own seeds. How are they doing this? By making illegal the process of saving seed. How government is siding with them? By letting Monsanto create a patent on their genetically modified seeds.

  • @TheIrieGamer So you see it's government's fault for having the power to tax people and use that money however it wants. Either taxes have to be dramatically reduced to stop it from doing anything, or we have to remove government's power and let it put existing tax revenue to good use.

  • @adrienspawn It is impossible to prevent pollination and when the crops of other farmers get "infected" with Monsanto's seeds, the company comes and claim that those crops are theirs or they have to destroy them because of the patent. How the government lets a company to create a patent on DNA? It is like if your mother gets her DNA patented and if you want to have children you will have to pay her becuase of her DNA (bad example but the only one I came up with right now, sorry)

  • @TheIrieGamer What does that have to do with what I said? And they made the DNA, it's their product that they sell.

  • This Republican Eddie Monster, has some fucking crazy ideas, you better watch this lunatic, he is worst than Duncan Hunter.

  • It's TIME to TAX the RICH $ make USA no.1

  • P: Ron Paul and VP: Paul Ryan 2012

  • Ryan / Thune 2012

  • Paul Ryan was the deciding vote for Medicare Part D which wastes billions every year and to destroy Rep Ryan's credibility even further he co-wrote the drug policy of Part D.

How is that for an inconvenient truth.

  • do we actually deserve some stuff in life good question

  • @marshalparshal NOTHING YOU DON'T WORK FOR!

  • Make this man President.

  • Paul Ryan, next President of the United States.

  • Paul Ryan voted for Medicare Part D that wastes 300 billion a year. How is that for an inconvenient truth.

  • it's scary how stupid these tea party "patriots" are and yet they actually think they understand what the word socialism means. Health care reform bill is NOT socialism. For it to be socialism, the government would have to own the means of production, which it doesn't. Also, "free market" arguments don't apply to health care. I am actually in favor of free market competition, but it cannot exist with health care as well as police, fire cuz the consumer CANNOT shop around for them. turn off fox.

  • @el3m3ntsk8s

It's actually scary how stupid you are..

  • @el3m3ntsk8s

Government would own the means of production of health care if they have a significant stake in the care provided. After all, if the money is not produced for the care (via Medicare payments), then the care will not be rendered.

Please enlighten me as to how 'free market' arguments do not apply to health care. Go on, I'm waiting.

  • @MrTurdFurgeson

If I want to buy a shelter, food , or clothing, I have a wide variety of options. If I am sick, and need something to cure me, then that is the only product I can choose. Where is the free market? There are not multiple brands for every disease. Not every drug treats allergies, head aches and 'depression'. Many people lack adequate access to health care because of cost, and countless more have died from it than the victims of 9/11 or of soldiers in the ME combined.

  • @el3m3ntsk8s - You show your ignorance when you claim Tea Party members don't understand the word "Socialism" while you don't even define it correctly.

Socialism is when Big Govt controls NOT just the means of Production, but also the DISTRIBUTION.

ERGO - Obamacare would control the Production by way of limiting cost, therefore limiting the amount of care provided (thus controlling the Distribution as well).

That was about as simply as I could explain it for you.

    Do you get it now?

  • @el3m3ntsk8s Is this Anthony Weiner again?

  • What about the billions set aside hidden in the healthcare bill for Obama's private army. In case you did not figure out who is this arm supposed to fight. Well the US people if need be. They would me more open to open fire on US citizen rather than the standard US military.

  • @lookng778 the only accountability will be us having 2 pay big ins. companies or go 2 jail n pay a fine. Go read the 1st 300 pages n u will vomit n then want a revolution. The big insurance companies helped get this bill passed. They demanded no public option nor private. Yet congress involved in this bill r exempt n keep their premium healthcare while we get an aspirin for a broke spine.

  • IF THE GOVERNMENT RUNS IT THEN THERE IS ACCOUNTABILITY. Unlike the greed that has exploded in recent decades.

Now that is the most ignorant statement I have seen

  • this wack job wants to shit can medicare....we gotta get out an vote and get this corprate pig thrown out

  • @whiskey1able

I think you have no idea how good it'd be to get rid of a system that pays out far more than it takes in. Medicare is absolutely unsustainable. There is a 2.5% tax on everyone for Medicare, but it pays out much more than that. What do you think will happen?

    1) Benefits are cut. People that paid into the system with an expectation of care will be denied

    2) Taxes rise. People that cannot afford additional taxes on their take-home pay will become poorer.

  • HERE A FACT: INSURANCE COMPANIES ARE SOCIALIST!! Why your little brain may ask...well a large group of people pay into it, but only a small group in need uses it. IF THE GOVERNMENT RUNS IT THEN THERE IS ACCOUNTABILITY. Unlike the greed that has exploded in recent decades.

  • @LOOKNG778

    Wrong.

There is less accountability under government subsidization of insurance than there would be of private businesses.

Under the government system, a government leader is mandated to be given 4, or more years to 'fix' any sort of problem with the system. A person has no way to get out of said system if the government owns the system. Under a private insurance system, that person can remove themselves from that provider, and switch to another one...Look at car insurance.

  • We are not a democracy, we are a Republic. You can not, by mob rule, vote away our individual, inalienable GOD GIVEN rights to property or freedom. The corrupted, coerced, bribed votes do not make the health care issue right or moral. Our history is governance by voluntary consent, not by force of government. The powers of government and government officials are strictly limited by our constitution and you shall have no right to exert force on the American people who have hurt no one

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you. A voice of reason still exists in the US... You are very wise. Are you running for office. Let me know if you are. I will move there just so I can vote for you! :-)

  • test

  • Wow how about you guys get a freaking heart. Why are you against giving 30 million people health care. Why are you for letting more people die because of the total rip off insurance companies. We cant wait any longer. Stop being so cold hearted and think of the people who are dying from this instead of the selfish losers against this. This bill saves lives!

  • @minnesotavikingsnfl So I have to downsize my ability to care for my family so someone can upgrade?

  • Feeling unrepresented, ignored, held in contempt by your "public servant" you sent to Washington to represent you? Go to...RECALLCONGRESSNOW(dot)ORG...to see what remedy your state may provide for dealing with rogue politicians. Citizens of the following states may be able to take immediate action to recall elected Federal officials. Colorado Louisiana Michigan Montana New Jersey North Dakota Oregon Washington Democrat thugs violated the Privacy Act and don't allow comments on their postings
  • Haha yup all republicans are liars, every democrat speaks pure true at all times. Sorry Vikings guy, but you are terribly ignorant for making such a statement. Both parties are full of lunatics, so please include your liberal friends in your bashing.

  • How about reading the bill you support? You know you're paying for abortions, paying for child molestors to get reimbursed for Viagra? You're being taxed, even if you make under 250k (despite republicans trying to amend that). You're being fined if you don't get health insurance, and if you have it the governement can change it without your approval. I belong to no party, but I've read the entire bill. Also, if you are on life support, the gov can pull the plug if it's cost effective. READ IT!

  • All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing..

    It's happening right now.

  • republicans, democrats they both same shit, working under the elite, trying to slave us and control us.
