Let me make a final conclusion.

R4 does not support HC cards.

HC cards are micro cards that are over 2 gb.

Such as 4g 8g 16g.

R4 only supports 256mb, 1g and 2g which are called SD cards

However, the itouch DS supports both SD and HC cards. I prefer the itouch DS rather than the R4 because it rarely has freezing problems. Thank you (by the way this video was made by my little brother not me. I don't know how he got this much views lol)

Just a note, the R4 is non SDHC compatible chip, it was designed before 4gig sdhc cards. You'll need the newer version chip and updated firmware before attempting anything over 2gig.

You're running the original R4 chip not the new R4-SDHC Revolution.

The R4 SDHC actually fakes the normal R4 but it doesn't really metter because they can both play games. The R4 SDHC isn't made by the team that made the R4.

you know, the r4ds III and the sdhc are not the same.

The R4 III (sometimes they put SDHC behind it) is fake.

The R4 SDHC is real and works quite good.

Maybe your R4 doesn't support MicroSDHC cards. Try a 4GB MicroSD card that doesn't say SDHC on it.

You have the wrong kernel installed on your R4. There are so many R4 clones out there it's hard to find the right one for your R4. Download all of the one by one. Mine worked after trying 18 different kernels. MARS v1.03 was the one that worked for me.

Trying out different firmwares randomly with the wrong cards can brick your card and possibly your DS. I'm glad it worked out for you, but this is bad advice to give other people, they could ruin their products.
