when Peter was fired , Ace was being outvoted 2-1 on everything, Gene and Paul were taking over every decision and Ace was fed up with it. I still love KISS even so, but it would be nice to have Ace in KISS again, but Peter can't do the job any longer and Eric Singer is awesome since 1991 for KISS ... Tommy is a great member of KISS onstage, behind the scenes, in the studio, but as great as Tommy is, who wouldn't want ACE full time?

Wow i still remember this video from when this song first came out (especially the floating heads part)...it is a great song. Dynasty was a big change from their pevious albums, This song and I Was Made for Lovin You do have that disco "feel" and sound but they were still KISS songs through and through. I love KISS!

@miker641 Thats cool. The Dynasty tour in '79 was my first as well. I was 9 yrs old and I remember asking my cousin why they looked so glitzy looking? I was expecting the Love Gun look. The Dynasty album did not reveal the new costume look. I was so pissed. It was still a great show though. It wasn't until 1983 when Kiss came back to Chicago. Boy...did they look different then!!

Its the sytle they went to on this album.All the previous years it was more of a hard driving(GUITAR) rock sound.On this album it was more melody driven.Softer sound. To be honest,it was my favorite album until I found out some of the originals didn't complete it.But by far,Dynasty was the best sounding album to this day,2009.
