How can one know that there is evil if there is not some standard to judge it by? To say that there is no God but there is evil begs a question. What is evil? Not an example of it but what is it? I think that evil can be thought of as the absence of good. So if Hell is the absence of God and good then it makes senses why it is so bad in my view.

How can one know that there is evil if there is not some standard to judge it by? To say that there is no God but there is evil begs a question. What is evil? Not an example of it but what is it? I think that evil can be thought of as the absence of good. So if Hell is the absence of God and good then it makes senses why it is so bad in my view.
