Actually, the only times the covers were fantastic & better than the original was when the Beatles or George performed the cover - Rock & Roll Music, Twist and Shout, Roll Over Beethoven, A Taste of Honey, Long Tall Sally, Till There Was You, Got My Mind Set On You and the Cavern Club version of Some Other Guy.

It's different,but good very good as far as this is a song of legendary artist and it is really hard to impress people with it's cover.

Excellent version of one of my favorite Beatles songs. What a wonderful voice, sure the solo wasn't well thought out but it takes nothing away from the over all performance. A vey good performance full of vocal passion. Great job!

well i like it.... Lifehouse are just fab, this was their tribute to George H, theyve grown from strength to strength and i think they are one of the best bands ever, they dont get the recognition they deserve but i love the way that they are not in the mainstream.... look at KOL, they were amazing once.. still good dont get me wrong but not appreciated as they once were - does anyone get what i am trying to say??... appreciate the music....

urrgg..im forced to disagree, i think its personal taste..ive hurd some beatles songs covered, and i like the covers better, i.e. "i want you(she so heavy)" dont get me wrong, the beatles are legends and i dont think anyband thats out there is going to surpass the originality and the talent as the beatles...its all a matter of taste, either way, beatles grandfather essentually all new music

EW&F's cover of Got To Get You Into My Life is better than the original, and Jaco's and Toots's version of Blackbird is as good in its own rite. Otherwise, however, you are correct. And this was a very good version, and very heartfelt too.
