Musicologists do all this TALKING and WRITING and so called research about music and what does it do to the world of music? You go to Grad School and write a bunch of papers and tell the "Musicology" Professor how fucking smart he or she is while most RARELY perform. Boy, oh boy they sure are critical at jury time while deeming themselves the "Schubert" expert or the "Copland " expert.. Furthermore, while they read or "research" they are NOT necessarily teaching. Ego,ego and more ego!
