  • if i do oversplits or somthing painful, people ask me "does it hurt?". I say "yes it hurts." Then they ask me " But why are you doing it when it hurts?" And then I always answer "I do it because I LOVE rhythmic gymnastics *-* !"

  • where did you get the pic from? i would like to use them for my project! can you send me a link?

  • Nice Montage :)

Rhythmic Gymnastics is hard, but that's one of the reasons why I love it so much. You always have new challenges, and you have to work and work and work to get it right. And it's also so fun! When something gives you so much joy, the pain and the exhaustion kind of fades away.

  • this is the first time iv seen rhythmic gymnastics and its between gymnastics and dance, the turns they do are crazy! I wish i could do that

  • One of the most beautiful montage on Rg I've ever seen! Very good job:)

  • @Sneg8 Thank you!

  • this is a really good montage.

i know a lot of people might think that this is freaky, but i honestly think it is beautiful. i am a dancer and i would give anything to have that much flexibility and strength. for my school, i am one of the most flexible for sure, but i cannot even compare to these girls. this is gorgeous. (:

  • 1:21.........wtf??????????

  • there flexible as fuck

  • I think it's sometimes creepy how far those girls can bend their back of how far the can go through the split. I'm a synchronized swimmer and we have to do that to, but not that far. What they do is destroying their body.

  • 2:33 what's name this girl?

  • nice vids with great music

  • la grs une passion depuis des année et des année je fais partie de la vidéo a 1:47

  • omg......

  • and when ur 30 ur body is a mess -.-

  • i wonder how much pain their bodies will be in when they are older from so much hyper-extension of each muscle.

  • its really not that simple... 180 degrees is so weak. In rythmic you have to look beyond what is healthy and push yourself. oh and trust me if their hips arn't squared on leaps the coaches will square them for you but it will hurt a lot less if you do it yourself. P.S. there are deductions involved for imperfect positions.

  • @jenniffir i hate having to square my hips haha no one understands what i mean when i say that but its hell :P

  • ...so, to sum up, it is my firm belief that gymnasts could compete in that beautiful sport being very flexible and elegant without all that useless damage that will ruin their adult life.

  • (continued from my last comment) I absolutely love rythmic gymnastics, but I genuinely believe that it would be just as beautiful if the athletes worked at just 180 degree extensions with their pelvis aligned correctly, and did not push their knees and backs to dangerous and extremely harmfull positions -to achieve, ie, hyper-extension of the knee, which is totally useless and 100% sure to cause very serious damage often requiring surgery.

  • (continued from my first comment) ...so that these girls train so hard for years, reach at the top of thewir carreers' too often before they even get 20, and when they reach 30 their bodies are already destroyed and incapable of doing sports or dance even for fun. They turn 30, with half of their life still lying ahead, and they have nothing to do, because the only thing they were devoted to usually was sports and movement and now their body has become useless.

  • No, you won't be successful "any time".

I'm a dancer, I've trained in ballet for 10 years and in modern for 6 years, which are enough for me to know that you have to work on your flexibility using correct alingment of the body and pelvis in order to stay injury free and able to dance for a long time. Gymnasts' flexibility not only is partly "fake" since they misallign their body to achieve these positions, but most importantly is dangerous and gradually destroys their ligaments and joints...

  • What is that move at 2:38

  • @1910girley

    c'est une gymnaste de grèce

  • Je ne suis pas sûr

  • it's eleni andriola from greece

  • I love watching RG these girls work so hard to get where they are! I'll never be able to do it cuz I'm 20 now, but it's nice to dream! Thanks for sharing!

  • the song is ennio morricone - love theme

    <3 belle vidéo !!!

  • when i was younger, i used to be in artistic gymnastics but they talked me into going into rg because apparently "my flexibility gets in the way of too many things". rg is A LOT more difficult. believe me.

but it depends what kind of rg clubs are in ur region.

  • thanks!:)

  • yes and no, if you work really hard you could a lot of these girls start as toddlers!!!

  • nope,

  • no not at all if its ur dream go for it but if u wanna be in the olympics its probably unlikely but u can still become very good and if u train REALLY hard u might have a chance. I started artistic gymnastics at 12 so go for it!!!!!!!

  • Are you're sure,it's look VERY like Irina Tchachina ?

  • i dont know?maybe

  • Hmm..i think it's here,because it's look like her,and has been a little girl,and not everytime look like she does now,so i think it's like maybe 78% it's her : p

  • Yes, I totally agree with you! It's hard and sometimes you ask yourself why you do it. But when you come home in the evening, you now that it was right, because rhythmic gymnastics is your life and you can't live without it.

  • another awesome video!!!! <3

  • Thanks again!

  • At first: Great work!

second: What's the name of this song?! It's so...beautiful *.*

  • I don't have this particular version of the piece, but I know Josh Groban sang this: It's called Cinema Paradiso (Se) and it's a part of his "Josh Groban" Album. It's really beautiful, his voice really compliments this piece.

  • i can do wat she is doing!!!! 2:23

  • The last picture is Bessonova...

    BEAUTIFUL MONTAGE!!!

  • Thank you!

  • is the last picture at the end olga pikhienko?

  • que lindo el montage!! y la musica es preciosa. ! hay que tener mucha perseverancia , esfuerzo , dedicacion y ganas para este hermozo deporte

  • training is so hard thanx for showing everyone who doesnt really kno how hard it is this is a good video

  • Thanks!

  • 1:05 - 1:15

    Aaaaauuuuu!!!

They don't have any joints or what!... amazing, but scarry

  • AMAZING!! really i love it. it's sooo good

  • Thank you!

  • Great video!

  • I think it's an art (dance), and a sport. :)

  • this is beautiful!

  • Thank you!!!

  • im just waiting for the day when rythmics is gonna get hugly popular in the us. it seems asif now it is often frowned upon.

  • Yes, I know what you mean... in germany it's the same!

  • What do you mean by "frowned upon" most people just don't know much about it. But when I show them, they think it's awsome.

  • Yes, but sometimes they don't realy accept it.. A lot of people find it awesome, but there are also a lot,who don't think it's a sport. That's really sad!

  • yah. but when they make gymnastics barbie dolss or american girl dolls thewyr always rythmic ones.

  • I luv it! Great job on this montage!!!!!

  • well getting boys is important in a girl's life but you know i do gymnastic at a high level and when i win a competition, im telling myself: well it worth it

  • You are so right!

  • 1.45 to ola metza ;)

  • Wow it' s beautiful montage :)

  • It says "PAIN" over the overplit training, but I do ALOT of that, and it doesnt actually hurt. When you train it properly the elasticity develops gradually and it doesnt actually hurt. PAIN is what happens when you throw the clubs 30+ feet into the air and accidentally "catch" them with you face!

  • i agree. it shouldn't hurt if you do it PROPERLY

  • Josh groban also sings this song, it's on one of his earlier CD's

  • i think its amazing! and they train so hard

  • It's "Love theme" (CD: "Cinema Paradiso")!!!

  • what the name of song pleases

  • what the name of song pleases

  • This song is beautiful, what is it from please?

  • WOW!!! Really cool!!! Good work! ;-D
