I figured out the final trick. Ricky places the potato into the right cup at 4:24. He puts the plum (whatever it is) into the left cup at at 4:37. Finally, he puts the lime (i think its a lime) into the middle cup at 5:13. Problem solved.
Just a remarkable performance. It's nice to see a whole performance, see how the tricks lead into and compliment one another, rather than just shuffled snippets of performances. Great resource.
@willzinga Even Ricky Jay explains to some degree. But what is good about Penn & Teller is that they explain how it's done and show you using see through cups, but despite all that it's still impossible for the untrained eye to actually see what is happening and that takes the trick to another level.
@Nintendogene I agree, it's all in the presentation and misdirection of his patter. The moves are actually pretty basic, but he does it with such style it's an incredible performance. A true master.
he reminds me of bill malone but way better and he doesnt make it seem like hes leaving just for the applause... like bill does because hes a nazi douche.
