Its a fact that when Defense Spending is increased jobs are increased. When you lower the business taxes on corporatons, they stay in Amercia and create jobs. When you ower the tax on average Amercians, they spend cash. When the government just spends money deflating the value of the dollar, people save and pay off bills. Nothing goes into the economy...that's what is happeneing right now. By the way I'm almost debt free. Three more credit cards to go and all I will have is my mortgage/utility

I lived in Germany as an Air Force brat in the late 60's. No one owned a house by themselves. Two families occupied 2 and 3 bedroom homes and shared the living space because the taxes were so high. No one could afford to live in a house by themselves. This is just one example of what is going to happen in America in the future because of the high taxes. These people were middle class people sharing a house we would consider small for one family.

It is already happening here. If you did not buy your first house ten years ago, the houses became unaffordable. Luckily I bought my first condo just in time! Or I would never own my own home. They just re-assessed my house for double of its original assessment. My property tax was raised by 1/3. Thats how much the government cares about the people lol. Do re-assessment during a housing bubble. It is all such a scam.

THERE IS NO MENTION IN THE STIMULUS FOR THE FOLLOWING:

1. No money to finish US/Mexican border fence.

2. No money going to ICE. Seems like if ICE had more money there would be more busts at work places and this would create job openings.

3. No money going to E-verify.

One would think that with the drug wars happening along our border towns, the American people would be demanding that Obama address this issue in the stimulus package.

Protecting the salt mouse might cover a lot of things - park ranger jobs, other jobs to clean up the habitat, scientists to study the most efficient ways to protect the habitat, I dunno. I can't say for sure. It is possible, though.
