  • Ayuh

  • LOL at all these South Park references

  • in the book when lewis meets judd for the first time, they start talking and judd mentions that there was a woman and her son up near castle rock who were nearly killed by a rabid st. bernard a while back. (cujo reference!) stephen king always puts at least one reference in his books to one of his other stories in the same universe.

  • jud has a wife in the book who louis saves

  • The ground turned souwa...

  • yeah its Herman Munster ^^

  • Fred Gwynne does the Maine accent extremely well in this film and the road with the trucks on it is absolutely true to life. The logging trucks run up and down those roads in Maine 24 hours a day and they don't slow down for anything. If you live on a road that sees a respectable amount of traffic, stepping lively when crossing is your best defense. Casually sauntering out into the street like city folks do so they can sue somebody if they get hit will get you dead up there.

  • LOUIS! YOU ALRIGHT LOUIS?!

  • Fixed cat don't tend ta wandah...Not on that rawed.

  • Fred's put one one of the better Maine accents that I've heard.

  • Jud Crandall is an absolute cult caracter! He should get an award. I love to talk like him when i'm drunk :)

  • fred gwynne should have got an oscar nod for this, but the academy would shit a orinco truck before they would give it to a horror movie.same go's for roddy mcdowall in fright night.

  • @cropsy2008 thats not true, kathy bates won an oscar for misery

  • ah haha!! his voice! ohh its amazing :( i love everything he says in this movie, especially when he says the dos name... ''SPAHTT'' haha!

  • great performance, terrible movie

  • @AlecKronicle how is this a terrible movie? i think its one of the best stephen king movies next to The Shining

  • @AlecKronicle fuck u dicknose

  • @rambomoore9999 you're a clever one

  • NOT IN THAT ROAD

  • Has anybody ever buried a person up there? CHRIST ON HIS THRONE NO!

  • yep, lotta history on that ski run

  • You smell like bacon.......

  • my mom has a huuugeeeeeeeeeeeeeee crush on jud hahaa

  • Jud!...what was that? "Just a Loon" Jud was a badass

  • I love Fred Gwynne's voice. I would have loved for him to read me a bedtime story lol

  • omg, Thank you for compiling this video and uploading this. !!!!

  • Aw man, awesome video.. but you left out the best line.

"This is where I buried my dog, Spaht! You see, Spaht gaht caht in some bobbed wah!"

  • yes alot of history on that road

  • after seeing this movie i was so scared i hid under my bed for years! i'm still there with my laptop, my sardines and my garbage bags, and i'm never setting foot out from under this bitch!!!

  • You wanna go to South Park, then ya gotta down that rahd. Of course I ain't ever seen nobody go up that rahd, 6 campers went down there and got lost, had to eat each other to stay alive. Used to be the way to the old O'Reilly house, he butchered over 50 kids and kept there bodies in his basement. But, about half way down you should see a bridge, that bridge is cursed ya know, built with the bones of 200 Chinese laborer's who were massacred in '34. Yup a lot history down that rahd.

  • @falloftroy1987 - Dude, really? You wanna fuck up the sanctity of Jud Crandall with some fucking South Park reference? SHUT THE FUCK UP.

  • @NightOfTha44 lol u mad

  • When I get old, I wanna be just like Jud Crandall, sitting on my porch, drinking beer and smoking.

  • @Diegobentes - Dude that was my exact thought last nite,

if I live to be 60+, I'm just gonna rock and drink six packs all day while telling stories to the younger generations.

  • Really, what was he thinking when he told him to bury the cat there...

  • Yea, a lot of history on that road.

  • Jud is the best character in this movie, I don't care what anybody says. I guess I've always have had a weakness for the wise, fatherly-like figure in horror movies... Dick Halloran in The Shining, Jud here... why do they always have to die?

  • @A01002401 well in the shining novel mr halloran didnt die only in the terrible movie but i agree i loved oul jud

  • Thanks to South Park, I can neva look at Jud Crandall tha same way again.

  • @southerncajuncharm - Sorry that you're an idiot.

  • @radudeATL whats wrong with the name Cage?

  • Love this movie! R.I.P. Jud

  • Awesome but you left out one of the best lines: "It's a place where the dead...speak!"

  • Is it me, or is Judd Crandall very paternal?

  • I think he is =)

  • "Lotta history down that rodd. Ayuh."

  • JUD KRANDALL IS MY BALLA
