@SusanShriverHowell I'm glad you like the video. I made that a while back, and know more than I did at the time. Still, I can't recommend the Rose highly enough. I now have a total of four wheels, and the Rose is my workhorse. I love that I can spin pretty much any thickness of yarn that I want on it - I have the higher speed whorls and the lace kit, but even without those she's fast! The treadling is super-smooth and quiet, and it is definitely portable enough for toting around town.

wow...your doing great for a beginner...i and getting a wheel soon to learn on .....i have a drop spindle that i can manage, however i fing drafting evenly difficult. any hints? i've been prepping my own fleece from raw.....
