The close-up moving shots of Parisian buildings reminds one of the lovers' bodies. Paris is the city of light AND love. The understatement is elegant and the sense of yearning almost painful. The cinematography of this episode is TRANSCENDENTAL (yes I love this word!)

And Cho-Cho-San singing of her lover's return as the TGV pulls into Paris is poignant.

Now that I've seen the first 2 seasons in the last day or so (don't judge, I had some free time), here's a few thought.

1- ZTube31 has to be a proud parisian because in his editing, he always keeps the different views of Paris, which is absolutly great!

2- The actor playing JP in season 2 is a fusion between Hugo Weaving and Johnny Lee Miller.

3- The music used throughout the show is great.

4- JP's mother is season 1 has said some beautiful lines.

Hope this is not the end of season2. Clara knew that jp had feeling for gilles because she saw how they looked at each other and did not want to let him know she was sleeping with him. Giles did what he always wanted to do. Jp was the hold up not him. Whether they stay together or not he will not be with Clara because she has lied twice and always try to get Jp to cover for her. This time she could not because Giles did not give her a chance.

I think he uncertainty was about the fact that it was JP and he was a bit scared about what's going to happen for them. But he seemed happy in the morning. Happy and sad I guess but not regretful in any way.

Clara isn't good enough for him was not good to him but he did love. I don't think Gilles ever got over JP. So complex

Keeping a secret would make no sense and I can't imagine Gilles doing it this time around.
