Ion Drum Rocker and GH interface with 5 lanes

Dude what can you tell me about the Dixon pedals you got?? I'm looking at a pair on eBay and I'm wondering if they're a good pedal or not

@colonelcocoa I'll just say "You get what you pay for". The pedals are a descent choice for roughly as a single chain pedal, but has a few cons. b/c it's single-chain driven it may have some slack as you speed up on harder songs. I have to ask if your trying to get something under $100?

@DestroyedMetal Unless its changed, they were like $51 but they had the wrappings and everything. The description said they were from a liquidation store that couldn't sell them so they went to eBay

@colonelcocoa damn they did go up. I got mine from ebay user efpro2 i believe and its cheaper but his shipping is unreal. Another pedal you should look at is an Iron Cobra with cobra coil

very nice. I also saw your GH custom interface video. small question.. Do the ions work well with it, like does it experience lagg when you hit a pad? Good job btw.

@XxMatthewC90xX Lag was never the issue. The only problem i had was crosstalk.

i just use stock ions for GHM

Everyone i'll be attempting to test an upgraded version to adj. the sensitivity and crosstalk with pototienmeters and everything is grafted in one box. I'll keep you guys posted.

do you use a kickbox with your kd-8?

no, Guitar hero drums automatically register the kd-8 b/c of the circuitry using peizos sensors, while rock band drums are dependant on magnet switches(Which requires a kickbox to be used)
