Before the US-Canadian border was established, the territory was disputed. The US established an army fort on the lake. Gen. Sherman named it Fort Coeur d'Alene from which the city took its name. The fort was renamed Fort Sherman and is now the location of North Idaho College. The old officers' quarters are now offices for some of the instructor.

@jacsmith17 Agreed I prefer other music aswell by now (I own the other two albums) but I have to admit that in certain mood some of the new songs are very good (Cd'A gets worse after the heavy opening...). I'd call the songs ''depressing'' which sometimes isn't bad at all. If my mood is good I'll rather listen to ''real'' metal but if I'm not too happy I'll give some of the new songs a try. The album has good songs but they don't always ''fit to each other'' imo.
