Jeff Beck w/ Jimmy Page

Jeff Beck just gets better with age. In the 60's nothing he played really impressed me. Then, after jazzing it up with Jan Hammer in the 70's I began to take notice. Ever since then he's gone from strength to strength & now he sounds like a cross between Larry Carlton & Eddie Van Halen! WTF! way to go Jeff!

Y'all are missing it if you say Page's playing has gotten worse....I would not say that. He plays different now than he did with Zeppelin...The playing in the Firm was different than with Zeppelin then you move to Page and Plant, he's again different...no he isn't as fast although at times he gets there, but now he's more melodic and soulful..awesome solos on live stuff during the Page/Plant stuff and hot again on the 02 Arena stage...no not like 1970 but just as yummy !

Jimmy's decline in playing may possibly have something to do with the heroine use in earlier times. It does a number on people, no matter, hats off to two guitar rock and roll greats! LONG LIVE ROCK!

Jeff Beck is an absolutely incredible guitarist. Not many people could pull off substituting their guitar as Plants voice. I loved this.

yeah jimmy was on fire in zep days and blew beck out of the water. Jimmy seems to have gotten worse with the years though, and Jeff got better with the years.

@MrZepron2112 Even Jimmy knows that Jeff always seems to grow in his guitar playing. I must say that Jimmy has NOT gott'n "worse"-He just doesnt play the same as in his youth. I wish I could play as bad as Jimmy. lol. I would rock some flippen sox off of the crowd & then some.... :-D
