nah, you gotta go with a completely striiped out cr-x, all the way down to the metal to save weight, move battery to back of car, and go with a b18c1 with the lsd transaxle. dual hardened valve springs made for high rpm, with titanium retainers, and stainless steel oversized valves, ported, and swirled head, with toda vtec killer camshafts, as for the bottom end, 4340 forged steel crank, 4340 steel billet rods with arp high strength fasteners, forged 12.5:1 compression pistons, race mainbearins

definitely stock D series. H1 allows bolt ons but no internals. Looks like a 1st gen so it likely has a D16A6.

are u for real anyone who know honda knows its a 2gen 84-85 was 1st gen no upper door frams... this one has door frame.

um.... this is a completely different body style from the early to mid 80s crx's, this looks to me like an 88-91 maybe. You have no idea what youre talking about.

@sookyz are you for real maybe you need to learn how to read read it again and you would see i was sayin it was a 2 gen crx 88-91 or 1st gens are 84-87 i have a 1st gen myself so i think i might know got a 87si rebulidin
