You do know that you cannot spot reduce (i.e. target) fat right? You can build muscle on an area but you are unable to specifically target fat loss. The human body simply does not work that way, and this is something that has been tested extensively.
So you see, any exercise that promises to reduce your waist (or whatever) is relying on a very widespread exercise myth. Its simply not possible.

My arms got lean...abs got toned & lean etc. This my not work for everyone, but it works for me and others that I've worked out with in the past. @coollharley , I NEVER do sit-ups, just hate them. I do the hanging leg raises. or I use the exercise ball to do crunches--sometimes I'd lay on a workout bench and do leg lifts. I also kneel and do overhead pull-down "I call it the praying move" . I'm a mother of 3, haven't worked out in almost a year and still have a flat stomach. I'm just starting up again. I know I'll have a six pack again in 6-12 weeks maximum. And that's because i know I'm not consistent why I extend it that long.

Hey Lisa.....last year I bought a golf exercise book that shows the exact exercise as shown in this video. Instead of a weight machine you use pilate resistance bands. They could in different resistance and you can take them everywhere, so there is no excuse when you are on vacation. Tie them off to a pole or anything else that won't move and do the exercise. Do a search for "pilate resistance bands". I'm hitting my drives abt. 20 yards longer now. Hope this helps.
This was helpful but we I dont have one of these at the gym. Im thinking of getting a kettlebell because I basically get no upper body workout. Would love to see a kettlebell workout or something for lovehandles easy to do at home type workout. BTW thanks for the DVD!

You do know that you cannot spot reduce (i.e. target) fat right? You can build muscle on an area but you are unable to specifically target fat loss. The human body simply does not work that way, and this is something that has been tested extensively.
So you see, any exercise that promises to reduce your waist (or whatever) is relying on a very widespread exercise myth. Its simply not possible.
