  • fuuuuzzzzyyy!!!yea!

  • dope!!!!

  • Just an expression...

  • I would give my right testicle to smoke a J with hendrix, and jam with him. He would whoop my ass, but still...

  • Hendrix did for for guitar for anyone who has come before him or after him. (Besides maybe Les Paul...) No one had ever used feedback like he did. He took blues, and created a whole new genre for future generations. He inspired more guitarist than anyone else in history. Music today would be nothing like it is today, if it weren't for hendrix.

  • @tedmcgyver

"...still swimming in his father's testicles..."

    XD HAHAHAHAHAHA!

  • Now stop acting like fuck heads and enjoy the music.

  • I'm 55 years old and I listen a lot to music of the 60 70 and also some artists that are still alive and new one's that are good, but Jimi Hendrix is just well he'es beyond words and concepts, he'es totally cosmic, a God, a skyrider...and to me the best musician I've ever heard and seen by the way, on video. I never get tired of listening to his pieces, I recognize his guitar immediately and he's just like no-one else at all...

  • @Cleo2706 Actually he comes from a long tradition of innovators. Check out Charlie Parker and John Coltrane.

  • im white and like good music

  • MY NUTS ITCH AND I LOVE JIMI HENDRIX.... no home..... actually yes homo

  • @JackEverton1878

    I know really :)

  • i really don't think this is jimi hendrix. it doesn't even sound like him

  • @4llyouneedislove

It really is him. Back in the vinyl days I had a bunch of Hendrix records, official and compilations. This was included on one of the compilations, released in Europe under the title "Historia De La Musica Rock." This was included, as well as numerous others which sounded more like traditional Hendrix jams."

  • Amazing....goosebumps

  • I WRITE COMMENTS IN CAPS LOCKS AND MENTION MY AGE BECAUSE I THINK IT REALLY HELPS SAY HOW MUCH I LOVE JIMI HENDRIX

  • lol im a psycho

  • @MrKabuto711 mee tooo

  • @johnyjohny103 yay. psycho buddy!

  • @MrKabuto711 ^^ just heard, that a guitar sounds like a...kazooie.....?

  • @johnyjohny103 .....? thats random. a psycho is a person without emotions or a conscience. other than that they are normal people

  • @tedmcgyver Who cares if he's older? There's a lot of younger musicians that are more talented than older musicians, age has nothing to do with music at all. It's wrong to say that without Hendrix e wouldn't have these bands, people don't look at just one band for inspiration - I'm sure Muse and Dream Theater were inspired by Hendrix partly but they were inspired by many other bands too.

  • @vcelt better than trying to act bad.

  • @supermegaburne good point.

  • What I don't get is why a load of people just say that Hendrix is the best guitarist ever, I think he's brilliant but is he really as technically skilled as someone like John Petrucci? Does he really have the onstage presence as people like Matt Bellamy?

I greatly respect Jimi Hendrix but given how many different styles of playing there are and how everyone seems to appreciate different things in guitarists can you really say he's the greatest?

  • @IchHasseDasSausage

He was the innovator. People have since expanded on him, but he took the biggest leap foreward in the history of the instrument. Music may have wound up where it is anyway, but Hendrix shot it foreward in the biggest leap ever.

  • @5jerry1 I get what you're saying but I think it's unfair to assume Hendrix was the bigget innovator in musical history - he is certainly a source of inspiration to millions of people but there are many other huge musicians that might have inspired more people. That's subjective really...

  • @IchHasseDasSausage

I would say he helped set the stage for what came after. I used to have a VHS tape that had an interview with Pete Townshend talking about Hendrix ("The 60's -Plugging In"), and he said one felt very small in his presence. This, with the hundreds and hundreds of hours of live shows and jam sessions he taped in only four years, he really made a legacy for himself.

I guess it is subjective as you say, but he really did make a quantum leap for the instrument's progress.

  • @5jerry1 exactly

  • @IchHasseDasSausage dude, hendrix is best not as much for his skill, but for his innovations, because without him, guitarists wouldent have near as many tools to use, both the guitarists you have mentioned are incredably skilled, but your comparing blues-like music to heavy metalish type music, thats two compleatly different styles of guitar. But heavy metal wouldent exist without hendirx and his innovations, so thats why he is best in my opinion, but, to each his own.

  • @Br0sB4THeH0e aye. and hendrix has more feel than any other guitarist i can think of

  • @doublesk1 *cough* Pink Floyd *cough*

  • @vjfender Is this really Jimi Hendrix plying and with who?

  • @boxingin bro its clear that jimi hendrix is playing. in jimi's songs you get a certain effect that is different from that of satriani or steve vai. his technique is great and no one can ever play like him. although you wont get tabs for this song.

  • @vjfender Where is the proof?

  • @boxingin dude thats simple u buy the album cd and u can get to hear the song

  • @vjfender Thanks for the great answer..... :)

  • I had this record when I was in HS, and had copied it onto a cassette that I played in my car. We used to drive all over at night and listen to this, among others. Hearing it makes me feel like I'm back in my '66 Mustang driving late at night in the country . . .

  • AFFECTION

  • I think what's special about Jimi is that his music is appealing to everybody, he's just too good to be ignored

  • @doublesk1 You'll find more as you mature. John Coltrane, Stevie Wonder, Albert King, even contemporary bands like Periphery, Meshuggah...These people, though you don't reaize it, are laying foundations. Catch it while it's happening so you can recognize the pretenders later.

  • @doublesk1 i don't understand how people can't like one thing without hating something else. there is the same amount of good and bad music being made as there ever has. u r just exposed to more of today's bad music because it is being played in contemporary society, there has always been plenty of crap. Captain & Tenile, The Archies, wilson phillips etc.......

  • @3tp Good point. With technology being what it is today, everything can be everywhere in a matter of minutes.

  • @3tp The difference is that what was considered good back then was actually generally good - what is considered good music now... well... isn't.

  • 15,000 of these views could be mine

  • JIMI IS STEVIE RAYS SOUL BROTHER

  • nobody cages me dot com

  • dude below said:

'Jimi Hendrix paved the way for rock, blues, insturmental, and so on and so forth.'

oy vey, must be a kid. all that stuff predated Hendrix, blues by several decades. instrumental by a several millenia.

the internet is a wonderful thing, but sometimes it just seems like a cesspool of misinformation and porn

*in old man voice* In my day...we had to go to the video store and get VHS for whack material..

if anyone cares, what hendrix did was a mix of blues and new technology

  • @PorkFrog that, and a good sized pile of epic

  • @doublesk1 amen brother

  • Jimi Hendrix paved the way for rock, blues, insturmental, and so on and so forth. He was a god in the music scene. still is.

  • @doublesk1 sorry but you cant make a fool of me. and btw its all a matter of opinion whos better by saying everyone who likes modern day music is a "FOOL" then that makes you the asshole

  • @danielpadgett you are changing the subject matter. u made an idiotic remark about my comment. its fine. forget about it.

  • @doublesk1 im really not changing anything sorry.

  • @doublesk1 theres alot of kids who are 18 who like jimi youre not special because you do. at a young age

  • @danielpadgett I DIDNT say i was special. im JUST stating that music from decades ago is far better than anything on the radio today. even tho its from decades ago its so timeless that his music has made it to the ears of those who are young in the '10's!!... next time just appreciate the comment, instead of reading in between the lines and trying to be an asshole to someone,,, cuz ull just be made a fool of. just as i did to u now.

  • im 4 years old and i think i know what music is when i hear one!!!!!!!

  • This is cool stuff ! I grew up back then, and this is as good as anything. Jimi R.I.P.

  • @stratocharger It's one of many very early recordings of Jimi Hendrix before he became a star while he was starving, working as a sideman guitarist in the early 60's.

  • 19

  • @doublesk1 NO ONE CARES HOW FUCKING OLD YOU ARE

  • @choochooherecomes I think he is trying to make a point about how jimi hendrix's music (from the 60's) can have an impact on someone now...more so than some other current music today. So it does matter how old he is or else his statement would not have the power and impact itself to make such a point as mentioned. And there is no need to swear......

  • @aaronanwar I suppose but I have seen so many people state their age on anything pre 1990's. I'm 19 and like the rolling stones, the doors and jimi hendrix but I don't bang on about it.

  • @aaronanwar MY GOOD SIR. U ARE CORRECT I WAS USING MY AGE TO SHOW HOW MUCH AN IMPACT MUSIC FROM LONG AGO CAN STILL HAVE. EVERYONE IS BLOWING IT OUT OF PROPORTION. I STATED MY AGE BIG DEAL. IF ANY OF U TRULY ENJOY AND LOVE JIMMI AND HIS MUSIC THAN U WOULD STOP LEAVING SUCH HATEFUL COMMENTS ON A VIDEO WITH A SONG OF HIS. I JUST WANTED TO GIVE RESPECTS TO JIMMI HENDRIX, THE GREATEST, R.I.P.

  • i think hip hop now is really catchy but the lyrics suck though.

  • thats my dad!!

  • i don´t care if its hendrix or not. it sounds nice, so i listen to it.

  • this song sounds like insanity. if this is insanity...I sure wouldn't mind being insane

  • great .. don't care who made it

  • this is not JImi Hendrix - not even close... it's amateurish crap...

  • @mifennelly TO EVERYONE, THIS IS RAD BUT THIS IS NOT HENDRIX, IT IS SLOPPY MUCK WITH A FUZZ THAT SOUNDS LIKE WET CABBAGES

  • NOT HENDRIX!!!!

  • he is number one, inovative, indiviual, a star, and a man of great insight.. noone compares, period.

  • @doublesk1 hell yea rock on brother!

  • I have a rare Japan released album with this track on it. I'm shocked 2 hear it on youtube.

This is some of his really early stuff. U can tell b/c his guitar does not really take the lead. He was still earning his keep at this point.

    Great upload.

  • hendrix is god and nobody can ever replace this guy

  • @KONeden even if somebody topped jimi these days which is incredibly rare , hendrix would still be remembered as the " one off " of his time , and the original guitar god XD

  • Das ist Musik!

  • i have this same song on "JIMI HENDRIX the greatest original sessions, d1;b nr.4" and the guitarists were jimi hendrix, herman hitson and lee moses.
