  • Wow! I was in Chicago and missed it. Did they close the bridge just below the falls? It was impressive hearing the sound of the water!

  • @dorypiccard The Yale Ave bridge wasn't closed, but Avondale Rd was. The entire park across from Thomas Leiper house was flooded.

  • If you had gotten there earlier in the morning it was at least a foot higher and covering that stone wall on the near side of the falls. I will post the video today . Although mine will not be as nicely produced as yours I will include a video of Crum Creek at the spillway of Springton Reservoir.
