I had to stop watching this mid-video...the ignorance of the interviewer is astounding. How many times are you going to ask the same questions. Here are the answers that they gave you: 1, They are there for traffic control. 2.) They cannot make arrests except when requested by the local PD. 3.) And they CAN arrest without a warrant for any felony committed in their presence (as you can do, as well), and 4.) Leave them alone. They all acted professionally, and within their rights.

Did I realize we have to keep a close eye on our military in order to ensure they do not abuse their power, but these guys are ligit. They were there helping with traffic not raiding houses. I do think that the first Specialist needs to put his rank and name tape on his headgear and the second Specialist needs to get taped for his weight. I had to stop watching this mid-video...the ignorance of the interviewer is astounding. How many times are you going to ask the same questions. Here are the answers that they gave you: 1, They are there for traffic control. 2.) They cannot make arrests except when requested by the local PD. 3.) And they CAN arrest without a warrant for any felony committed in their presence (as you can do, as well), and 4.) Leave them alone. They all acted professionally, and within their rights.

This is stupid, these guys were out on a mission, they were just helping the police with the flow of traffic, and you interrogate them as if they were shooting m-4s at the public for no reason. They were within the law, and were doing nothing to harass the public in any way shape or form. You can get some people to believe in what you want them to believe in, but at least respect these men and women serving our country. I am proud to be enlisted in the Army, I cannot wait to serve. @RawFayzed US military personnel are not supposed to do police activities. In America or anywhere else. Soldiers are meant to win wars and battles. Occupying nations is the work of empires. Do you see a British flag on the uniform? I dont think our US military is being misused, I KNOW they are. "we are just following orders". I have heard that before.

What these Guardsmen are doing is not illegal, you should read into what the National Guard is able to do, this is sanctioned by the state and the local police force. If we are being misused dont you think that we would try and get out as soon as possible? We want to serve, because we have what it takes, and if you dont then fine, but why criticize something that you dont have to worry about?

@RawFayzed The British would always occupy foreign lands and say they were spreading the monarch's divinity. Reminds me of America saying they are spreading freedom and democracy. They would have armed guards on the streets to ensure stability for the crown. The British people loved it, except a few who didnt want to obey a monarch. But those people were the minority and killed or jailed. Now consider the US military has and will again police American citizens in emergency situations.

@RawFayzed My comments on here dont change anything, they only slowly solidify my position that the constitution is ignored not by politicians but by military persons also. Even the US military has turned its back on the US Constitution because they only follow orders. "Im just following orders" is the last thing an American soldier should say. But my comments are moot and have no real effect. I dont have the propaganda machine of the US Federal government.

The idea that you think the military is protecting the constitution right now while they adhere to a government which has pissed on the constitution for decades makes me think there is no hope. The only entity who can threaten the constitution is the US government. The same entity that the US military follows without question. @RawFayzed I didnt go up to people in the streets, the conversation came up on a few occasions and I spoke my mind. People who over heard my words laughed as well as those I was conversing with. I dont deal with "conspiracies". I deal with logic and critical thinking. I dont go in front of troops or anything like that. I am not a fool, I know that convincing a soldier of their misplaced duty would be pointless as he/she would be just as powerless as me to change it even if they believed me.

While I agree with this video, I have to ask, was any research done as to the unit in the video. It is common for state National Guard units to assist in security or law enforcement, which is not a violation of the Posse Comitatus Act. Is this man on State or Federal duty?
