Side Imaging is a wonderful tool. It's made a huge difference in how I view any impoundment I fish.

I've been considering a Humminbird side scan, but have had such horrible experiences with their products in the past. I bought one of their first "3D" units, and it was a peice of junk. I would much prefer to buy a Ray Marine unit. Humminbird is also well know for having non-existent customer service. Think I'll keep looking.

I wonder how Lowrance will compare to this. They have a side scan coming out for the HD units. It looks pretty cool too. The one thing about the Lowrance is that it also gives you a down shot too, not just the side. I like the Humminbird though because to me it's easier too read than the Lowrance. The arch's for fish on the Lowrance is crap I think. I'm just not used to it so the fish ID like on the Humminbird that looks like a fish is better for mr

Me again ! Humminbird still will not fix my Humminbird ! 3 months of ignoring my emails they wont EVEN SAY Get lost ! NOTHING If you want one of these boards that has drippy solder jerry rigging go ahead ! I should have listened to my fishing buds Humminbird has board issues and ZERO service I spent $2700 and $250 and my unit broke all together inside 35 hours thats a few trips guyS ! Shop around there ar eunits with no issues I had one for 20 years.

I own one of these babies ! love it the machine cost me $2500 and know what ? I got a $%^&* LEMON Im pissed as it broke again ! they get $250 when you mail it back , I will try again. after 12 trips it should not be doing this shit, I know there are lemons with every product its how the dealer treats the customer that bought a lemon that counts , will send in monday and see ! I will post here and you C what Humminbird is made of ! navigation is serious business so is $2500 !
