I love the part at 0:54 but it almost sounds uneven and unfinished. It would sound great if that part was seperate so you can hear it better. It replays at 1:24 it just seems like your left hand is cutting out the battle-ish part your right hand is doing. But it really does sound amazing! I honestly wouldnt be suprized to hear this as Alex's battle theme. If its not, then I will turn the sound off on my game and listen to this when battling him. You ROCK!

Time signatures used here... 9/8 (as 4/8+5/8), 6/8 (as 3/8+3/8) and a brief 5/4? Rhythmically, definitely in line with Sakuraba's style. Melodically... it's got it's moments. But hey, I'm not complaining. I honestly think you were limited by your instrument here - GS's instrumentation, building off of this, could really achieve a more characteristic sound for Alex. Lovely job

I can really see this as Alex's battle theme. Do you mean though that when they fight Alex this will be the music or that fighting as Alex this will be the music. either way you perfectly capture Alex's arogant/ all knowing adititdue along with his evil wish of world conquest in your cool and creative playing.

i may be just a regular band kid but it sounds incredible! my band teacher who has taught for over 20 years thinks this is one of the best pieces ever. i do have to say though it needs a little more edge maybe a few more crecendos and accents if not would be best for before battle

Since, I can really see this for Alex, I'll be a little more concrete here, what happened around 1:19? Sort of an abrubt transition don't you think? Might have done better to re-introduce the hook.

If I knew a little more about music, I'd be better at giving absolutely applicable advice. Since I don't, I'll just give my opinion: Motioi Sakuraba tends to introduce the "hook" early on. If you started your performance around 0:51, it might give be a little easier to recognize the directions of your song. In other words there's some consistency/anchoring issues.

This is another song that needs to be sold to camelot/nintendo. Patent it, and the first calm part of the song would be pretty good for a GS 3 commercial, and fear not, I'm pretty dang sure GS 3 will come out given the circumstances eventually. Its a simple song though so theres no guarantee they would buy it but its worth a shot, good luck. The enourmous amounts of hoaxes, and the fact that GS was #1 in suggested music for brawl+isaac AT gives camelot an oppurtunity that I'm sure they'll use.

problem is, there would be only 2 scenarios where you'd hear this song, and that's if alex is in your party or if alex is a boss. the music doesn't sound like boss music, and alex isn't a good guy so he wouldn't be in your party... just saying

Anyway, Alex defiantly has to be dealt with in battle sooner or later.
