I'm sure that aggression had nothing to do with it - this bird was likely guarding a nest. Mockers do not mess with animals - especially cats - for amusement.
The shame of this video is that it proves why cats should not be considered "outdoor pets" - they decimate songbird populations. It's irresponsible ownership, and anything but funny. Keep it inside.
Not to mention that you can also tell by the tail feathers. Blue Jays don't have long, gray and white tail feathers. Pause at 00:21, you'll get a good glimpse of the bird then.
Our adult cat Milo was being attacked by a chick thrush. The thrush had bitten onto Milo's arm and WOULD NOT LET GO. I actually had to get it off with a rock, I came back a few minutes later to find Milo licking his paws, lazing around and the bird nowhere to be seen. On closer inspection I actually found its toe thing, (where its claws are) and i assumed Milo had eaten it.
This just shows you what is possible when you stand up for yourself. You are going to see this change worldwide...smaller animals standing up to larger predators. This is an energy that humans MUST learn from when dealing with the Reptilians and Negative forces in control of this planet.
i hate cats anyway...

That's not a blue jay; that's a mockingbird. You can tell based on its voice. Only a mockingbird makes that kind of noise.

That is...er was...a mockingbird. You can tell by the flash of white when it beats its wings.

That's fucked up to let your cat eat native wildlife.

I searched them online and it seems they are just agressive birds. I also think that they had a nest in that pine tree.
