Does this not seem like a giant ripoff of steve martin's 1977 album "let's get small"? On the album, steve does his impression of night club singers and mentions being born a black child.

I wouldn't be too quick to diss steve martin, even though he sort of sold out over the years. But Steve Martin in the 70's had so much energy that made him such a dynamic comic. In my opinion, I liked Martin more, but by no means to discredit Belzer who had a niche that no one else could, or ever can fill.

I honestly do catch some similarities between belzer and martin of the same era, however they definitely have their own original bits. I certainly wouldn't describe it as a "giant ripoff"
