I never felt really sorry for Vitch because he was just really annoying although i did feel a bit sorry when Slagar turned him over. I felt a lot more sorry for Slagar because no beast deserved what happened to him at his young age. His mother was murdered, he got bitten and poisoned by a venomous snake and then went insane :(

It is a little bit of a strange choice. Being used in Lion King 2, which was based off of Romeo and Juliet, Kovoo was supposed to be the equivalent of Romeo. To apply that to Vitch I find strange, being I never sympathized with him at all. But it does work I suppose if you go back to the chorus "He is not one of us" being that he blundered to everyone, even Slagar. Kovoo it was not his fault, but Vitch it kindof was. Still works well despite that though. Good job.

@101jir Well... Romeo wasn't exactly sweetness and light himself, always causing fights, gatecrashing parties, and murdering Juliet's relatives. And, by the way, it's spelled Kovu. =D

@SciFiFangirlsFTW I wouldn't use the term "murdering". there was, of course, the matter of sheer rage that must be accounted for. I think a lot of people would do the same if their best friend was killed. I see your point though. From that perspective, it does seem to make the song more applicable than ever.

awsome choice of a song. ya know, vitch's and kovu's characters do have a lot of parallels...came to the good guys to try to live a clean life, got into a bit of troube, ended up leaving in disgrace, but not really accepted by the bady guys either....except kovu was confused and misunderstood. vitch is just a selfish, conniving little twit.

I always hated Vitch, both in the book and even more in the show. He had one of the most annoying voice-actors EVER! I was disappointed they didn't make his death just a tiny bit more gruesome....

But anyway, your vid was good. Way to go! :)

Jake Goldsbie is the voice artist and I thought he did a damn good job, myself. He kept the accent understated for the most part, added just enough snivelling, and pulled off some really great bits like just after the initial fight with Mattimeo in front of Constance etc. when he starts to blame Matty for it and trails off with a fake whimper. That ruled.

I'm pretty much the opposite of you on this one because I can't picture any *other* voice artist doing ratface now.
