@4ingP True,true.And it's not like,"Hey!The world modernized!Who did that?" It could go back in time and it would end the same way. I mean,would anyone here give up the Adidas shoes and the microwaves?It's not like any of us knew life without this kind of confort.It's just how it is. Time goes forward,society goes forward,science goes forward,but somehow our mentality goes backwards. Sure,we learn,but it's not like we can keep what we learned to new times.LOL I'm getting too carried away here...
@otks0800 Plus people were tortured a lot, disease was rampant, hygiene was poor, people lived less, there were a lot of stupid wars, people didn't have good diets, Christianity and Islam controlled most of the relevant countries, people were sexually repressed (only the missionary position was allowed, and no foreplay), medical practices weren't effective or clean, women had little rights (although nowadays, feminists want women to be superior to men, so it's just as bad), people were ugly, etc
@4ingP Yeah,true.Altough I have to say I don't find modern days feminism looking of rthe female superiority... what I do see is that women want have equal rights,but only when it's convenient.I mean,women want to receive as much as men on their paycheck,but in the end the men are the ones paying for the dinner.And I don't think people being ugly is of any relevance...But yeah,I get your point.It's not like fairy tale,rpg,movie plot or anything.
@ragy90 alwayz, fvck the industrial and post-modern. though with some benefits (like the internet) its primary gifts are the cancer, the aids, the random car crash, the diebesity and factory work,
@Yukondano2 advanced medicine at least here in the US cost an arm and a leg and has some bad side effects (marijuana has beed used to thousands of years and is natural), education is great but is suffering huge budget cuts right now (traditional cultures learn from relatives which is awesome), and immortality although nearly possible will be available only to the rich due to its crazy high price tag (life close to nature and family is best).
