  • turn down the jazz please!!

  • This speech, and MLK's disdain for the Viet Nam War, was the reason he was killed.

  • Wonderful! My only comment is that , even though I love Mahalia, I couldn't really hear all of Dr. King's words at the end. Just turn her down a tiny bit. BTY, I am a 65 year old, white, Southerner. Blessings

  • i belive Dr. King saw 9/11 n some of his speeches. thank u Bernice, Martin 3rd nd Dexter 4 ur fathers life

  • Anyone know what jazz song uses this amazing speech ?

  • Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. lives on

  • what a GREAT speech !

  • thank you

  • Honoring A Great Visionary and Spiritual Leader...RIP...May we apply the principles and teaching of Dr. King to foster positive change in our community...

  • @pastorble84 i couldnt hve said it better myself

  • I am sorry but the end was not a treat, but a distraction. That was disrespectful. Mahalia Jackson would have never interrupted Dr. King like that so you should have not either.

  • @PatentRob i agree.. but i think he or she didnt mean no har. i say if he was going to do it at least turn it down very low.. it is very distracting!

  • what a GREAT man!! Martin Luther King Jr. was definitely a drum major for peace and justice

  • since Pres. Obama is so outraged over "faux" homophobia in [the] Black community & Black churches, why does he so ardently seek and assume their electoral support on every opportunity ? Since it outrages him so, perhaps in order to allow him to maintain his character & integrity, the "Black Community" should offer it's objectionable, homophobic support to a more reasonable and balanced candidate come 2012- just a very short time from now ! Is there any other group he snubs more than Blacks ??

  • POWERFULL!!!!!!!

  • Have mercy!!!

  • Don't Play with me !

  • People like MLK who speak the truth get killed...... JFK, John Lennon. We are all one. peace and love

  • Love - What would Dr. King say today (alive)?

  • Lord help today..... Brother Martin was soooo right... even then, he was right. & thats just WRONG ya'll. War generates Hate... Hate brings forth DEATH. There are varied kinds of Death. Dry bones are dead with out JESUS.

  • Martin Luther King did say that God will rise up and break the backbone of America's power and pass it on to someone else. And the truth is, most American people won't learn. We see America's backbone of power breaking now, and China will soon have a piece of it.

  • This speech is one of the best oratories in recorded history in my personal opinion. What i take from it is Dr.King's interpretation of Jesus' words "everyone can be great because everyone can serve" If people (including myself) can be more selfless, they will earn a place in Heaven. We should worry less about being NBA Champion, Grammy Award Winner, First in our class, Top executive. "I want you to be first in love and generosity" Just awesome. A New definition of greatness Starting at 2.55

  • @chinchonchinchon Absolutely, it is eerie how the warnings he has leveled is still relevant in our world today. "God didn't call America do what she is doing what she is doing what she is doing now, God didn't call America to engage in a senseless unjust war."..and "we won't stop because of our pride and our arrogance."

  • appropriate song for his message. Thanks.

  • Can somebody remove the song and just let us listen to the sermon quietly?

  • Obama talks as the drum major that has never showed served, he has always "worked" in organization's that never had to SERVE only take. It shows in his policy he takes.

  • As much death and destruction that the past administration did, you have the audacity to talk about OBAMA and his policy? I think your problem is RACISM. Wake up.

  • If you believe I liked the bush either than you need to Wake up. OBAMA's policy is the same as bushes only his words are diffrent.

  • This is outstanding!!!

  • Such a great and inspiring sermon. "Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve." I so greatly admire MLK.

  • Be first in love, for love is the greatest of all.
