I have a good size patio and that's his territory. I let him in the house only when I can have an eye on him because he likes nibble on things. I remember one time he chews on the lamp wire and it's just too risky for him. He is well litter train and rarely make mistake on the carpet. One time I felt asleep on my bed while he is with me and he try to scratch me up to let him go back to his litter box and it end up he pee on my bed :( well got to pay attention to your bunny...

Infact rabbits are much more at home being part of the household, and not just sitting in a cage. They ARE like little dogs, and have much moe personality than youd think. And it is very easy to prevent them chewing wires As for the risk of them peeing or doing anything else to your carpet, there is none. Bunnies naturally use a litter box

Try to research different type of rabbit breed if you are planning to take one home. I think different breed have different behavior. Mine is a Dutch (mix) well not a real Dutch rabbit but I think he have all of the behavior of a Dutch. It's so true that you never hit a rabbit or make them frighten. They have a really good memory as for as I know because my Toto remember each time after his bath I'll attempt to cut his nails. So he went nuts and tries to run away like a fugitive.
