  • @hypergal8

Hey, Yea I've done a couple of spots on the Shack.

  • @muppetspuppets Cool! This actually helped a lot. All the other tutorials were so difficult :P

  • socks a fo ya feet silly!

  • @yamatoe57 Well if you ever loose one, instead of throwing it away - here's another use =P

  • the girl is hot :D

  • I love that..its sooo cute!! :)

  • Cool! Thanks! I had an idea today and I'm making one tonight!!! Mine will be red too for Valentine's Day!!!

  • The girls is very pretty!

  • any idea for a substitute for the eyes?

  • @Ryodox Googly eyes or just carboard cut into circles with black pen circle for eyes! :)

  • its elmo!

  • can you make the mouth from cartboard?

  • @overhool Yeah . It might not be as springy but It will do the job

  • @muppetspuppets allright thanks

  • simple but very good

  • where can you get an ice-cream container lid like that?

  • @jackthedudeful any plasic container would work. Even the bottom of a plasic milk bottle.

  • @jackthedudeful I think its just like the top of an ice cream cone! So like y'know when youv got say.... a Cornetto and you take off that top bit to get to the top of the ice cream, I think its that bit :)

  • cool

  • ummm... what size should theee... that thing that you put in the puppet's mouth...??? how big should it be?

  • @littlebigkidz The plastic you cut from an icecream container should be roughly the size of your palm. You can always cut it smaller later if it doesn't fit in properly.

  • it looks like elmo!

  • thank you helped a lot

  • @inndigogirl I'm glad. Thanks for your comment =)

  • Wow...That was fast...

  • Can I just ask you, how do you get the Ping Pong Balls to stick to the sock? What do you use?? I know, I know -- you're gonna say glue.. but what I mean is, you have no surface to stick the glue on (as its hollow) so how does that work? As I type this I'm thinking I know one way to get around this but you make no mention of it in your feature... so, I'm thinking you must have a simple and glaringly solution that I've missed. Many thanks

  • Yeah I'm going to say glue lol. It is a bit tricky, you're right, but just run the glue around the edge of the ping pong ball half then hold it onto the sock.

For the clip I got some velcro strips and folded it on some of the edges of the ping pong ball. That only holds long enough for the demonstration though.

  • How do you get the ping Pong balls to stick to the sock? What do you use??

  • Clear craft glue. Not pvc or wood glue. You can usually buy it from the cheap discount stores.

  • 0:50!!! sock puppet!!!

  • Very nice. Thank you so much for sharing.

  • i know a name elmo (well it looks like elmo anyway)

  • awesome!

  • i made a better sock puppet with different materials

  • ELMO! lol

  • Looks like Elmo.

  • is she retarded, why did she keep her hand up!!!! lmfao

  • oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • Lol, awesome, I'm going to make Sifl and Olly (Youtube it)!

  • Comment removed

  • you could just use cardboard..... And use 2 full ping pong balls for eyes. Maybe an adult can help with it too?

  • @muppetspuppets wats an easy way to cut a ping pong ball. because when i tried to cut it with a knife and it just made it blunt

  • Depending on your age you might want to get your parents to get a Stanley Knife and cut a slit in the centre of the ping pong ball.

Then just stick the scissors in the slit to cut them in half.

  • I'm making OLLY!!!

  • It doesn't say how big to cut the circle.

  • You're right - I didn't .... About the size of your fist.

  • This was only last year..

  • handy dandy!

  • Thankyou spankyou!

  • what show is this??

  • It's taken from a segment I did on 'the Shak'.

  • how about "socky"?

  • Amazing...it seems so easy, btw i'm not sure is so sample to do! :D

  • Wow! In under 50 seconds! I am amazed!

  • Are we not all but puppets? Walking shadows who strut and fret our 15 minutes of fame, characters in someone else's dream - a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury signifying nothing.

    I feel so used.

  • It is a bit quick. They don't have much time to fit everything into one show. Was there a part you wanted to know more about?

I used a sock, a pingpong ball cut in half and icecream container lid.

Just draw a circle on the icecream container lid about the size of your fist.

    Then cut it out.

You can trace a small cup if you want.

Clear craft glue is good to keep it all together.

  • thats simple but easy

  • It sure is! Just like most ideas, you just have to think of it =)

  • wow i'll have to give that a go lol!

  • You truly are a genius... i'm sure Millar would agree with me.

  • Aww how sweet!
