There are risk's with any diet. I was on atkins for a long time and there is a controversy with that because they say all the protein and red meat can cause serious problems. The drug's they come out now a day's the side effects are more scary then the problem it self. I know some people have issues with doing a diet like this because they are used to over eating to begin with so they end up having bad headaches and feeling sick. But if your someone like me that barely eats wont have issues.

Dr Clark, I under went the HCG diet plan under a doctor's supervision. I just finished my final day of injection. I hit my goal 9 days early. Instead of 40 days, I lost 30 pounds in 31 days. I could not believe it. Also it was not so difficult going on the 500 calorie diet, I know for sure if I was not using hcg there would be no way I could eat that little. To the people who think this is a scam or does not work I can tell you it really does work.
Doctor? In botany? Plants? Why the white coat? This guy is a chemist/botanist. Don't let that fool you into thinking this guy has a degree in medicine.
@bilobaman scientists and lab workers wear white coats, too. the color of the lab coat means nothing in the science profession. general physicians are not the only ones who get to wear white coats. he is a dr and research scientist. if you knew about science you would know that drugs are not just thrown into the mainstream and they take years of studies and lab work. if he is a research scientist who has worked with/ studied hcg, he is as qualified as any dr to speak about it.

Hormones are just drugs that the body makes for itself and pharmacists are taught much more about drugs and chemistry than a doctor. Doctors usually only know what the drug reps tell them about the drugs they prescribe. Doctors were still bleeding people with leaches when pharmacist were using drugs to cure diseases.

Too many people focus on negatives, please enlighten me because one of the details people will freak out about is that hCG is present in tumors BUT I heard that this is mostly in cancers men get, Like prostate cancer? I had no hunger or cravings for the 46 days and I will do another Round August 1st. I have Metabolic Syndrome & got no help from doctors at my age. I have found Arthur Agatston, M.D., the Cardiologist who wrote the SOUTH BEACH HEART HEALTH PROGRAM to be helpful with this condition. I plan to use his information when I reach goal weight.

That is because many studies that are done today in mainstream medicine are funded by drug companies who have an agenda.
