Florida International Airshow 2009 - F15 Strike Eagle

I've been a regular at this air show since 1995. The show has gone downhill every year since. Now they charge you $20 a person plus parking costs. Sad thing is the show offers less and less each year. No Blue Angels or T-birds this year. The F-22 is scheduled to make its 1st appearance at this show this weekend. I assumed it would come in today, I spent the day at the end of the runway waiting...but 36 hrs before the show begins and the Raptor and the F-16 have yet to arrive.

@Tampaslice I agree, they're charging too much for much less. I can't decide if I want to go this year not being sure that the F-22 will be performing - FIAS is not listed on the F-22 demo website. I know that they're claiming it will be there. Does that mean it will come down from Tyndall for a fly-by?

@q9550speed The Raptor didn't fly a demo on either day! It flew for about 6 minutes both days during the "Heritage Flight", it's a nice 2-pass fly-by with the P-51 Mustang. the A-10, the F-16 and the F-22. That was it for the Raptor and the P-51 for the day. The F-16's demo was top notch! The A-10 was it's usual demo. Big Pyrotecnics fireball. For what they charge to attend the event, they seem to be raising everything but the level of Performers! Very disappointing for Charlotte County!

Just a correction, this would be the F-15C Eagle (single seater), not the F-15E Strike Eagle (two seater). Great video... shame they're retiring the F-15C demo after this year! :(
