The only use I have found for these vermin is snake food. The babys make a special treat.

Although, boiling this thing alive might be a fun time.

In Vietnam we used them for target practice. The best ones were the mating ones. Hit the female and she just explodes. With my sniper rifle I could castrate a male at 500 yards.

I miss killing monkeys.

ok, so here's my take on this one:

the water around our monkey here is "life" but it's also "discomfort".

The cute thing only wanted a bigger rock to make its existence a little bit more comfortable but he didn't think his actions might have an effect on the water.

the "sad" part is that as a specie we are that monkey:) seeking comfort at the expense of the life that surrounds us.

But I might be wrong:))

people who interpret art say more about themselves the art they interpret... but your interpretation does sound pretty good... the only other interpretations I can think of are along the same lines, only more literal. I mean, you see an allegory for the state of the world and how humanity may be afecting it, and I see a fable for a life lesson. The fable I see comes to the same conclusion as your allegory. We shouldn't adapt our environment too much, or we may lose it and die in the process.

yes, I would have gone with the life lesson allegory myself if it weren't for the " ppl wake up" in the title of the vid. But art can always reach out beyond its "name" and reinvent itself trough somebody else's interpretation. It would be a waste if things had one single meaning:)

It was a japanese monkes. They live in the Mountains of Japan and warm themselves up in the hot springs that you can find there often. they really do have that grey/white fur. they sort of look like baboons, only smaller...

They are snow monkeys, they do live in cold climates in China I think. They usually spend a lot of time in warm springs. Do some research.
