Will say that this game is part of Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection, so if you want to get that, it has the trilogy. I'd do that and go for the platinum, rather than a couple bronzes and silvers and 1 gold. 1 of the silvers being one of the most frustrating trophies. It's always the little games with the unreasonable trophies, it seems, you know? Like Uno's Top 50 gold trophy. Lame.

If you were a Streets of Rage 2 Character, which would you be?

I'd be Axel because I aint too big and aint too small and I've got the look of a man who was hurt in a previous relationship and subsequently finds it hard to open-up and express himself (except through pummeling goon after goon into nothingness with a lead pipe).

Max is ace too but he looks like a cuddler, doesn't he. Blaze is probably my fave: 'WEDON'TDOTHAT!!!'

He is powerful...I especially like using him against that huge wrestler guy in the ring that can suplex you over and over again. My best friend and I would play this game and he would be Max and I would be Axel....we owned!! SOR 3 isn't really that good however. I'm sure you don't like it either seeing that Max was replaced by some other character that just doesn't have the presence.

If I remember rightly, it was because of sheer indifference about what character he used, so he just selected the one that was under his cursor.

Secondly, what kind of person really cares about what sex the character theyre playing as is, its only a game. The only concern should be, am I having fun playing this game, not what sex the characters are.

I think those people need to play more of the genre. Cant comment on Turtles in Time as Ive never played it, only played the original Arcade version, which is okay. Personally, while I like Streets of Rage II, it isnt my favorite game in the genre*; Alien Vs Predator, Battle Circuit, Knights of the Round and the Sengoku series however: the good old arcades had the best ones, shame the only way to play most of these today is with MAME. :(

Sega is the best. You have games like Streets of Rage, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, TMNT, Home Alone, Paperboy. Those games never got old.

The whole out of synchronization thing could be fixed if you would play it in either the US or Japanese forms, starlac. PAL versions of the game are notoriously bad for synchronization issues and this video proves it as being so.

Thanks for the advice, BTW the original video was perfectly in-sync, it was only after I uploaded it to youtube that it became an issue. I kind of get what you're saying about playing it in the US/JP forms, but I haven't used emulators to record any footage and can't record my modded Mega Drive when it's in US/60Hz mode with my capture card.

All the games Ive had sync issues with have been uploaded as mpeg files, and even one of my 60HZ game recordings, Sonic Adventure 2 seems to lose sync at the end so I dont know if its just a pal issue rather than a codec issue.

I used an PCI Adaptec VideOh! capture card, which most of my videogame consoles, etc are plugged into. Probably not the best capture card ever made, not that you'll notice much with Megadrive games. I then converted the captured video to Youtube size, cropping the PAL boarders as I went. Youtube then messed the audio up, because it was fine beforehand. :(
