  • When I bought my straight talk phone, no one could tell the difference if it was a contract phone or a prepaid. When i told them that i was with straight talk, people flipped out and couldn't believe it! No contracts, and no monthly bills are great to have!

  • I see that aviadore is complaining about ST in Anchorage. I can't talk for Alaska, but I can speak for the other offshore State, Hawaii. I used Straight TAlk all over the main Island recently, with no problems at all.

  • I have had a straight talk unlimited phone for about a year. It is everything that I want from a phone. I am planning to upgrade to the Nokia 6790 smart phone. Does anyone have any feedback on this phone?

  • so many good comments, i want to add to them. i am also very happy with my prepaid unlimited cellphone plan from straight talk. i am still a student and need to save where i can, and straight talk helps me save a lot of money since i got the unlimited plan. unlimited talk, text and data is the best cellphone deal ever for $45 a month. thank you straight talk, from a happy cellphone user

  • Well Christmas is coming up fast...almost too fast but at least Straight Talk has solved a lot of gift giving problems for a lot of people....what nicer gift could a teenager get than a Samsung qwerty slider phone and the $45.00 a month unlimited talk, text and web deal.....my kids are going to be over the moon

  • I travel all over for business but there is no ST service in Anchorage, AK, even tho it states so on the coverage map. Nor will ST give you credit or a partial refund for this. So they essentially engage in false advertising. You've been warned

  • @aviadore I live in the US and not in Anchorage. Talk to the company and tell them. Not to customers that want to save and are reading negative comments. What I like from you is that there was no bad wording.

  • I got straight talk for all three of my kids, all still young, and the $30 all you need plan gives you 1000 minutes and texts each month, which is more than enough for young kids and I save more money than if I had one of the family plan contracts. I highly recommend it to every mom out there!

  • I love absolutely everything about the way Straight Talk's plans are structured. I love the way that I can change from one to another from month to month yet using either the $45 or $30 plan you still save a lot of money. If you switch from a contract to Straight Talks prepaid you can save from $600 to $840 depending on the plan.

  • Straight talk cellphone really do offer a great deal for the price. For just $30 a month you get 1000 minutes, 1000 texts, and 1000 mb of data transfer with no contracts and no monthly bills. I agree that we could all use a little bit of saving in our lives!

  • @pollitodeals I love that on top of the great deals you mention I also got the cool Samsung Finesse with 3g and every other bell and whistle including a camcorder...I dig being able to access the web from my phone!

  • What I think is cool about straighttalk is that when I pay my $45 for the month there are no extra charges that come up. For $45 I get unlimited nationwide talk, text and web time - this is saving my family a fortune

  • I also have the straight talk razr. Its a great phone and I really enjoy the coverage and the fact that there are no long distance charges:)

  • With the financial uncertainty at the moment, I think that is one of the greatest things about Straight Talk...you are in absolute control of your spending. Not only do you know up front how much it's going to cost you, but you'll also be saving big time in comparison to a contract deal. Being with ST has been such a bonus in my life.

  • Straigh talk unlimted has been a huge saving to me $45 for unlimited usage has been such a pro to me as I like to have very lengthy calls and now I dont have to cut them. This is the best deal that I could find and thank you to straight talk

  • Using Straight Talk has definitely made a big difference to my budget.

There is no contract but I can talk as much as I need with the unlimited $45.

Now I dont have to worry about getting a scary bill as its Unlimited and I know Im saving a lot compared to my old contract.

  • Actually wish I switched long ago. Then I would have saved so much more during the last two years contracts suck!

    I'm switching this month!!!

  • No as far as i know when i switched from my old carrier i had to get a new phone. but the phones are really nicely priced and they have an average sized but cool range. And its not a big deal since the monthly savings pay for the phone really quickly.

  • can I use a unlocked device with this service?
