Wow. Talk about role reversal. Dean tells Cas in S4 that he's sone everything cas has asked without doing anything and is denied his request. In S6, Castiel repeats almost the exact same thing. That shows how they influence each other and how close they became in a season.

@VanitasxAura That's so true. But you also have to notice that in this situation Castiel does help him indirectly by telling him about the archangels & prophets. That was his way of still going around not being able to help him stop the prophecy.

Heh. As an atheist it doesn't bother me, seeing as Supernatural is fiction. Sometimes it can get a bit too sanctimonious, but seeing as the theme brought Castiel on the show I'm not going to complain. :) Also it's not like they're preachy and moralistic, which is the downside of Christianity... they even state here and there that the Supernatural "Christian" mythology diverges from real Christian mythology on some points. It's all good. It's justy harmless fun. ;)

I was so happy when Angels came on to the show. All though out the series there was demons and Hell and all the evil and whatnot and I always said "you can't have hell and not have heaven too!!!" and now they have Angels and that made me happy. lol

Luke was a real prophet who wrote the "Gospel according to Luke" in the New Testament of the Bible. Chuck is freaking out and can't really believe what's happening to him which makes Dean question whether someone as whiny as Chuck could be a real prophet. So Castiel tells him "You should have seen Luke", by which he means that Luke was also freaking out when he found out he was a prophet, back when he lived a rough 2000 years ago.

Basically it's a joke you only get if you know the bible.
