Most people don't remember it was because when Disney owned the rights to the film, and showed it on TV, they cut out a lot of parts, including this one which all they showed was Beetlejuice kicking down the tree and spitting on it. This goes for every other TV Network thats showed it. However, if you owned the DVD or VHS, it's always been on there.
