I agree Lexi that just a small percentage of the youth will get to make it all the way through, but I can ensure you and anyone else that are afraid to try it... it is really worth at the end.Believe me it is!!! you can make it! You were born to fly and rock this world,to make the difference and to overcome any obstacle in front of you! Marla U nailed! Blessed be your channel and just as a suggestion to Lexi, when you have a chance watch this movie if u didn't yet : ''The pursuit of happiness"
Marla, it isn't fair to compare your generation to your kids'. If we treated each generation the same, the world would not progress and it is selfish thinking. Your parents probably gave you a hand out in a different way; even if it wasn't on the same scale/subject, or about money. Back then the hands outs you got were probably seen as 'overboard' compared to what your parents got when they were young. You only don't expect her to chop down trees or milk the cows because you didn't have to.
@jonhickman123 This line of thinking is why each generation gets weaker and weaker. Some of the things that we chalk up to "progressive technology" have caused atrophy in our youth; the worst part is that I too am responsible for this result. I want my daughter to not only be forward thinking (and she is) but to also hold some of the old school values that never fade like respect, integrity, and gratitude. Today's generation of parents is way to lax in this area...real talk!
@landmat5 "each generation gets weaker and weaker"? I guess the generations that accepted slavery, banned women from voting, lynched black people, put homosexuals in prison were stronger then? well they were certainly less educated and more immoral. Facts and history speak the loudest.
